Hotel was just as pictured. Staff were very nice and welcoming. Room was OK beds were very comfy and you had a pillow menu to chose the type of pillows you had. Breakfast was good, usual European breakfast of cold meats and cheeses but also included bacon, beans, scrabled egg, toast etc. The hotel does not do food any other time of day. Hotel is so close to the Victory Bridge and the famous Central Market Hall, tram stops and metro. Budapest is beautiful and well worth the visit just be careful that most restaurants and cafes now add a service charge on your bill ranging from 13% to 27% So places don't expect a tip.
Great location, a couple of minutes walk for all local transport and for airport bus. All the staff were always very helpful. Room was clean with everything you needed. Great breakfast plenty of choice both continental breakfast and cooked breakfast. 😋 Really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended. Budapest was a lovely city plenty to do and see !!!
Excellent location, a couple of minutes walk for airport bus and all local transport. Staff very helpful and service was great from everyone we interacted with. Really good breakfast. Couldn’t fault anything, really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.
Just returned from a 5day stay at this hotel , we were very impressed with all aspects of hotel , rooms are compact but more than adequate and very clean , by far biggest asset f hotel are the stafff all without exception are pleasent and helpful nothing to much trouble , special shout out to Vicktor on evening reception duty , he will recomend restaurants and even book for you , needless to say hos recomendation to us was excellent , the city itself is easy to navigate and the Big red Bus hop on hop off excellent value for money , we purchased a 4 day bus / boat ticket unlimited use for 30 euro , we found all the locals we came into contact with to be pleasant and helpful , city itself vey clean and as 2 ladies we never felt at risk walking around late at night, trip to outdoor baths is a must do, cost of food , drink , taxis very reasonable . I wouldnt hesitate to recomend this hotel and city Im sure we will retrurn …
Hotel was centrally located. Very near to the Market and green bridge. Very helpful staff. Room was compact but very adequate and clean. Breakfast was very good. As we had an early check out we were provided with some juice and sandwich. So appreciated.
Great hotel in a great location, perfect for exploring both Buda and Pest with ease. Unfortunately the twin room we requested was not available so we had to share a double which was not ideal. The room and bathroom were absolutely tiny, as is typical in city hotels but it was functional and modern with plenty of plug sockets, some UK news tv channels and a powerful warm shower. Bathroom was not as clean as I would like it to be but it was eventually cleaned better halfway through our stay. A good hotel for those on a tight budget.
We were at the Boutique Hotel for a week and we enjoyed every second! Very comfortable bad and good service The breakfast is a must! Very tasty and have all that is needed, so book it too We definitely recommend!
Had a very enjoyable stay here.. we found the hotel ideally situated.. All staff were brilliant, reception very helpful & informative, breakfast was good, & room service was also good.. All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean.. No faults from any aspect of it. Would highly recommend, & would deffo stay here again.
Small, welcoming and super clean hotel in a brilliant location. A couple of minutes around the corner and you can hop on the tram or metro or cross the beautiful bridge to Buda. Yes as others have commented rooms are not spacious but the beds are really comfortable, aircon essential to us in hot weather, wifi good, bathroom had towels hairdryer and all we needed. We stayed 6 nights in two double rooms travelling with our teenage son on a BA package. After a long day exploring the city it was lovely to to just chill in the downstairs bar and plan our next day. The breakfast is simple but plentiful with something for everyone, my son enjoyed french toast, pancakes or made a bacon sandwich, my husband liked the continental meats and cheeses with juice and I enjoyed delicious home made yoghurt, fruit and pastries with coffee. We couldn't fault it. If you are a light sleeper request a room on a higher floor as there can be a little noise from street below but it is quiet considering the location is so central The biggest asset at this hotel is the staff. Such a great team, discreet but friendly, helped us figure out travel routes because construction has affected metro/tram options, helped me try to solve a credit card problem, stored our luggage on our last day. Always polite, great service from each and everyone employed here. We felt really welcome in Budapest for the second time and would definitely return and stay at the Boutique. We recommend FoTaxi to and from the airport and bought the BKK travel pass at the airport for the week approx £10 each so we could use all local transport without hassle of buying tickets , incredible value to enjoy this wonderful city. Thank you to the Boutique Hotel for a great stay.…
