The staff was really nice to us, kind and ready to help us 24/7. Location was not so good, bad area, drunk people laying on the streets at any time of the day. Sort of scary. Despite that, the room was clean enough, and breakfast was varied and tasty.

The Atlantic is a pleasant enough budget hotel centrally located in Budapest. It is clean, the rooms are adequate and the food reasonable. Its main feature is its excellent, helpful and friendly reception staff, especially Andresk (Andrew). From information to ordering an honest taxi, nothing is too much trouble.

The hotel is situated in the very city centre and close to many railway stations. I did not have any difficulties to find it even though I was walking on foot from Nepliget. Just the street Nepszinhaz was a bit unpleasant because of many homeless and drinking people. My room was pretty big, I had enough space for my belongings... More

Its a OK hotel for a small price. But i would not recommand you to send you girlfrind or something out alone on that street. Persons i meet from BP told me that is the worst street in hole BP and also dangerus. Its like The Walking Dead when you are in that street at night. But all in all,... More

There is nothing fancy about this hotel but it is a good enough spot to spend a few nights and enjoy Budapest. There is a tram stop very near which takes you right to the metro. Breakfast was not very appealing to me but there were plenty of options for less picky eaters. Not all rooms have A/C so if... More

It maybe near the city centre but the actual street it is on is full of people drinking, empty bottles, others lying the street, only feels safe to walk around in large groups at night! One very rude young breakfast waiter, food average, English only spoken by receptionist. Some rooms are tiny, with no access to fresh air cause they... More

Could be noisy if there are young groups there, because its structure is a well. The hotel offers a good breakfast. Some rooms have no air conditioning, but some do. The location is also tricky, and a bit depressive. However it`s not far away from the city center but requires about 10 min walk to the right bus stop.

Location not good but tram station is near to hotel. Far from city center. You can find doner shops, African fast food corned and Lidl nearby. I don't want three single beds in the room when I want to leave alone. I don't hop from one bed to another during night. I had three beds in my attic room. Anyway,... More

The pictures of this hotel are very deceiving. It was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. The rooms were disgusting, the bathrooms had black mold all over and the shower stall was broken and wouldn't even open or close properly. There was no AC in the rooms we had and if you've been to Budapest in summer, you... More
