Everything was fantastic at Hotel Parlament. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location great. Breakfast very good. Nice inside decor. View not fantastic from room, but then again, who wants to sit in the room the whole day. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting beautiful Budapest.

We recently stayed at hotel parlament and thought that the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They were happy to help us with everything. Our first room was on floor 0 and was not nice. It smelt of old cigarette smoke and played havoc with my allergies and the road outside was very noisey. We asked to move rooms the...

Hotel is a bit out of the way in a quiet area with modern décor. Our room was clean with a comfortable king bed. The Wi-Fi presented no problems and the breakfast offered a full array of tasty items. Our room looked into the central court but to block our view of the adjoining building, there was a screen hanging...

What a lovely hotel to spend a few days at! Budapest is a super place to see and enjoy. The rain somewhat dampened our expectations but it just goes to show how good it was for us to have enjoyed it so much. I cannot fault the hotel for the quality of the rooms, the superb customer service, the brilliant...

Lovely hotel set in a quiet part of Budapest. Clean and staff will do everything they can to help. The receptionists phoned restaurants, taxis and also the hotel we were moving onto in Bratislava. It was birthday the week we visited and they gave us both a couple of glasses of complimentary champagne! This hotel is a very good one,...

This is not an expensive hotel, and for the price it's pretty decent. Photographs well - and it just feels a little dated in parts, but no real complaints, apart from the wifi, which is fine in the lobby, but a bit poor in the guestrooms. If in-room, fast wifi is important, then ask reception if this is fixed yet.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
