Fabulous boutique city hotel. On a quiet side street yet only a few minutes walk down to the river and the hustle and bustle of the bars and restaurants situated around the Basilica. Budapest is a facinating city and the staff at the hotel were more than happy to help with any questions you had about getting around the city... More

From the beginning all our needs were accomodated. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Location is perfect and breakfast is fantastic. We went for my partner's birthday and we had a bottle if champagne and chocolates on arrival waiting in the room. I hope we have to return to Budapest and I will definitely stay at Parlament Hotel again.

Great hotel just outside all the noise and activity. About a15 minute walk to Vörösmarty Square. It was quite hot during our stay and the air conditioning worked great and it didn't shut off at night as some other hotels do. Not a large room but adequate. As others have noted the bathroom door is all frosted glass with about... More

A beautiful Art Deco hotel with a friendly staff and delicious breakfast. After having been spoiled in Paris right before arriving at this hotel, I wasn't expecting much. But we had a great experience. Hotel staff was always willing to recommend a great restaurant and were very welcoming. Hotel and the room were clean and even though I didn't have... More

This was the second time for me to stay in this top-notch hotel in the middle of Budapest. However since my last stay back in 2013 they have changed the whole look of the reception, bar and dining hall that has turned the place into a very modern but warm environment. The money I spent on staying in the Hotel... More

Fantastic hotel for a business stay. Quick to get in and out of the city and an ideal place for an evening in Budapest. Central location with only a five minute walk from the centre. Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
