Great location, friendly and helpful staff and really good value for money. My friend and I stayed here while we were interrailing and this was one of the cheapest hostels we found. Rooms are clean, no bunk beds which was really handy, lockers in the rooms and a wetroom/bathroom near the bedrooms plus another one near the reception/common room. I'd...

The hostel was only one block away from the Danube and right in the city center. Price was really affordable and the staff was really nice and helpful. Although the entrance to the hostel might appear slighly old, the hostel is very cozy. The bed was confortable and the hostel was very quiet at night. It only had two bathrooms...

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is really friendly and ready to give information on places to visit, where to eat or go out, how to travel around... There are usually travellers hanging out in the common room so it makes socialising easy; I arrived alone but didn't stay so long. Beds are okay for a youth hostel,...

Group of 4 19 year old girls. We were slightly dubious about this place ( seemed a bit backstreet and crampt from photos) but we were pleasantly surprised and more than happy! Had a private, spacious 4 bed room with no bunks. Sometimes a short wait for a shower but really wasnt an issue. The staff were great and gave...

Set in a great location, with clean facilities, friendly staff and slightly cheaper rates than other hostels, there is nothing not to like about Green Bridge hostel. This hostel is certainly one of Budapest's hidden treasures

Green Bridge is an excellent hostel located within short walking distance of many great eateries, bars and other attractions. I've had the pleasure of staying at Green Bridge on two occasions and both times the staff were extremely friendly, going out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. An ideal place to meet fellow travellers...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
