I occasionally spend a few days here when I return to Hungary from Sweden around Christmas time. Whenever I stayed at one of the apartments, I never regretted my decision as the staff was always helpful, and it is hard to beat the cleanliness and the location. A few weeks ago, before my return to Sweden, I asked for an early check-in (i.e., at 11.00), which was provided without any problems (plus the apartment was again super clean by that time); the flexibility is highly appreciated. In winter times, the apartment is super warm, so you will never be cold if you visit Budapest in the colder months.
Apartment itself was average, pretty noisy and poorly lit hallways, when you walk around the corner we encountered a few unsavoury characters, one growled at me. Not once did we meet anyone from reception but they did wake us up with a call and hang up at 12.10am, we left next day, we felt very uneasy with people outside our door in early hours
Wonderful, bright, clean, comfortable, well equipped and warm apartment. We had a great time. 5th floor apartment light and airy and lovely morning sky view. Free Wi-Fi was great. A wonderful city break. Would definitely return to Prince Apartments. Thanks for a lovely time.
My friend and I had an amazing 3 night stay in Prince Apartments! Our room was huge, super clean and safe. Beds are comfy, the room was warm and the bathroom has a hairdryer. The kitchen has all equipment/facilities (fridge, oven, hob, kettle, microwave, toaster, coffee machine) which we hardly used but nice to have! Great location and close to transport links for the rest of the city. Staff in reception are brilliant and were so helpful when we got to the airport for our flight home and realised we had left our passports in the room safe... If you're lucky you'll also get to meet the reception dog who is also very welcoming! Definitely recommend booking the Hop on Hop off city bus directly with reception - great way to see and get around the city cheaply! Thank you :)
Loved my stay here, very clean and had everything we needed. Great location and short work to trams or for a walk to all locations. Hotel reception all lovely staff and very attentive if needed. Seeing as though I didn’t directly book and trusted in the weekend break guys it was a plea sent surprise and would recommend to anyone
Excellent stay in these clean and efficient apartments! Affordable and you even get a coffee machine! Will definitely come back. Budapest is my favourite place in the world and the apartment is in Pest. Good transport and great location.
We booked a 5 day city break and this came up. What a great place. Located close to everything. The room really surprised us with its size, facilities and location. The kitchen is small but has all the equipment you might need, including a microwave and coffee machine. Not that we intended to do a lot of cooking, toast was our limit! The gift of tea and coffee to start the day well was a nice touch. The bathroom even had a washing machine! The small balcony looked out on a tidy courtyard. The whole place was quiet and felt safe. We would use the Prince Apartments again when coming to Budapest.
Lovely large, modern 1st floor apartment with lift. Fast WiFi. Very clean. A few wee maintenance issues. V close to shops for provisions, metro, trams & buses. Good location If you don’t want to pay ++ right in the centre & fantastic price! Get 100E bus from airport & walk from first centre stop. Girl on reception was very helpful & courteous-thank you!
The apartment is average, the reception is not that pleasing. It's very dark and unkempt. They only converted a room to become a reception area. The furnitures are not matching to welcome a guest. With regards to their room, it's clean and spacious. The staff are friendly and sometimes helpful. My friends told me not to walk alone at night when going home. The street is dark and a lot of drunk people walking in the morning.
Booked here for a 3 night stay. On arrival we were luckily let into the building by someone coming out as there was no answer from the reception entry phone. Reception is on the first floor in a room which was shabby and our first impression was not good. The staff were cheerful and welcoming and gave us the key to our apartment on the 6th floor. The corridors on each floor are a bit gloomy and in need of decorating but we were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our apartment which was very clean and spacious. For some reason they had made up 5 beds whilst there was only 2 of us?? We put the sofa bed back which was simple so we could use it as a sofa. At first we thought there were no duvets inside the covers but on closer inspection there were some very very thin quilts inside. Pillows were ok but do need replacing and the beds made me itch, but I have very sensitive skin so it may not affect everyone, although my friend also got itchy. There was an air conditioning unit in the bedroom which we didn't really bother with because of the noise and a fan in the cupboard which was broken and unusable, so we slept with the window open. It was very quiet mostly and we were woken by birds singing which was ok, although on our last day people in the next apartment were talking very loudly with their door to the balcony open at the crack of dawn. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the centre so a great location especially for the price. It's a no frills place but was very clean which was our priority. Great bakery at the top of the road if you don't fancy the breakfast that is included. It is not served at the apartments but a local restaurant 5 minutes away. We went there once but decided to explore other options as we didn't want eggs every day.…
