Good points of this acommodation are: the quiet neighborhood, very close to Buda Castle and Saint Matthias' curch. To get downtown where most of restaurats and bars are you only have to cross the bridge. The price is definitely competitive. The apartment is tiny but has everything we needed (also a fully equipped kitchen!). We had a good experience!! only...

Apartment location is good. We were disappointed to see there was no bath in the very small bathroom, as depicted on the internet site. Checkout is 10am and we were not allowed to extend this as there were people booking in at 12?? Heating and hot water did not work on the morning we checked out.

Dear Guest! The pictures on the website show all type of rooms. Only 2 of them from the Deluxe apartments has a bath tube, the others only shower. You can read this also on the booking website. So the pictures show what the apartments really look like. The check out is at 10:00 (you can find this information also on...

My husband and I recently spent 4 days at these apartments and I really can't recommend it enough. The building is absolutely beautiful and authentic and the apartment was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The apartment was very central, being just next to the chain bridge. This allowed us easy access to everything. We would definitely stay...

We had a two room apartment. The rooms were large with the one bathroom located in one of the bedrooms. That was sometimes a bit inconvenient for the couple staying in the other bedroom. There was no air conditioning, which was not a problem because the weather was cool. However, the apartment is right next to a very busy street,...

The manager, Elod, emailed me directly after booking the apartment and asked if we needed an airport transfer as he could arrange that. Upon arriving our driver was waiting at the airport and brought us directly to the apartment. Elod was waiting for us at the apartment and we went through payment and access to unit information. He also left...

The apartments are really close to the Chain Bridge and most of the attractions on the Buda side of the city. The building itself is a bit worn out, so you can consider it either charming or distressful. I had no issues at all during my stay and I'd stay there again, for sure.

Arrived late in evening and the apartment's car to take us from the airport was waiting for us, even though the flight had been delayed by an hour! The location of the apartment is incredible, just a few minutes walk from the Chain Bridge across the Danube. The exterior of the building is stunning and the old wire-cage lift in...

Located close to the Chain Bridge, the Funicular, Castle District, sightseeing bus stop, SPAR shop, a restaurant right below, a convenient store around the corner and a host more, this old building with modern self contained rooms is great value for money. With Katy on-site when you arrive friendly and helpful one felt it was home away from home. What...

Staying in District I / Buda

Neighbourhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
