Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very charming boutique hotel with such a pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are decorated and given the personal touch. And a tasty breakfast is served. Good restaurants are close by. The hotel is located in a short walking distance to many sights.

I spent 7 nights in Beletage Hotel. The location is based in a strategic place, so I reached all the tourist spots on foot! The room was extremely cosy, I felt very welcome from the first step. Such a wide variety of options for breakfast - it became my favourite part of the day. All the staff was so kind and helpful in all situations. I highly recommend staying in this hotel. Zsolt if you are reading this - greetings from Lithuania!

It is a very comfortable hotel. It's quite cheap too. Breakfast is frugal; tea, coffee, bread & mini croissants. Staff are engaging & very helpful. It is conveniently located too. It has no restaurant or bar but not far too local facilities.

I had a fantastic 7 night stay here with my fiance. The location was perfect, being a very short walk from the Jewish district with its bars and restaurants, however it was also situated on a quiet side street so we were not disturbed. There is also a metro and tram stop 2 mins walk away with services every minute. The rooms are huge with high ceilings and beautiful decor. The bathroom is lovely and has a powerful double shower. The bed was very comfortable with a firm mattress and very spacious. The staff left us a complimentary bottle of champagne on the bed as well as complimentary nuts, biscuits and fruit. The breakfast was varied with plenty of options. With a 7 day stay we found we could have a different breakfast each morning. Nothing was too much for the friendly staff who gave us plenty of recommendations and advice for our trip. We would definitely highly recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in a convenient location. My room was spacious and very clean. The continental breakfast was very good. But what I enjoyed most about this hotel was the friendly and helpful staff! They were so helpful in advising me on activities and directions and were also a pleasure to speak with. I would stay here again!

We have just spent 3 of our 4 nights at the beautiful House Beletage and would love to be able to give it a 10! This would have to be the best accommodation we have ever had. The furnishings are spectacular, the cleanliness is amazing and the service is unbelievable! Our thanks must go to Zolst and staff for being so helpful, accommodating and respectful at all times. The extra touches - champagne for our arrival New Year's eve, chocolates, nuts, biscuits and more, were such a lovely touch. Complimentary breakfast was incredible with all food and drinks constantly being monitored to ensure nothing ran out. Another lovely touch is free hot drinks available at any time. We found it very quick and easy to walk to any areas we wanted to go to as it is very central. The Boutique Hotel is also very quiet being situated on a side street. We would highly recommend this for anyone coming to the beautiful city of Budapest!

We spent 4 nights at House Beletage and would highly recommend it. Small but elegant with amazing high ceilings and real charm. Good breakfasts (though the eggs tend to go a bit cold in their 'warmer') and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Only a five minute walk to the very efficient Budapest metro and less than 15 minutes walk to the Jewish quarter. A very nice place to stay, away from the main tourist crowds.

What a friendly comfortable hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Every member of staff was polite and friendly. Always asked how we were and if they could help with anything. Customer service was excellent. The room was spacious and warm with a nice shower. Complimentary water and a few biscuits. Hot drinks available at all times at no charges well as a kettle in the room. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Would definitely come back and stay here again.
