DIrty, with a lot of material everywhere. They have not done anything with this place in years. It is like a home for ghosts. They promised internetaccess in the room but there was none. They promised swimmingpool but there was none. They promised bowling but there was none. The staff could not speak english. The place is really terrible - I...

This hotel was an absolute dive! Our room was old, dirty, stained carpet and bed sheets, ants crawling on the bed, shower head and shower door fell off, mold in the shower. They kept telling us they would move us to another room but everytime we checked with the front desk nothing was available or they didn't understand english. We...

My daughter and i stayed at the Best Western Lido March 08. Dont be fooled by the 4 star rating. If you are looking for a clean warm cheap 2 star then this one is for you, but beware of the SCRAMBLED EGGS!!!!! Only reason to stay in this 2 star (not 4) hotel is if you have business in the area, although i'd rather spend an extra 30-40 euros and stay in a better hotel. Location is in a residential area far off from the city center and away from public transportation. Rooms have not been renovated since the '70s and are...

Mum and I stayed 4 nights in may '06. Good location by the river, but beware of mosquitoes! The nearset HEV train stop 20 minutes walk away, then a metro ride into the city centre. We used the free hotel shuttle bus-reliable and easy to book the night before. Last pick up was 6.30pm-too early if you wanted to stay...

Cheap to stay at but 15 minutes from centre by car or taxi. hotel run a good free shuttle service into Budapest but this finishes at 18.00hrs. The taxi fare into Budapest is about £ 10 so to go into town for the evening you are faced with £20 per night for taxis. The breakfast is no more than adequate.Otherwise...
