In spite of its central location the hotel is surprisingly qiuet. The size of the rooms is good, with enough space in them. The beds are comfortable. But the bathroom is small, and not very clean. The staff should make more effort to clean it properly. And that strange hotel-smell...! The whole building is a bit worn. Not a top...

I don't recommend this hotel. Except for a nice receptionist that was kind enought to explain what's to see in Budapest and a big parking lot the hotel has nothing to offer. The other people in the staff were cold and unpleasant, the towels and the carpets had an odd colour and smell, the air-conditioning sistem did not work (at...

The Corvin Hotel is excellently located, near to the city centre. near to metro fenerc korut on line 3 (320huf per journey - easy to understand system). used taxi zona to get to hotel from budapest airport (5200huf - cheaper to return). The receptionist spoke good english, and was assigned room on floor 2, just above the enterance. the room...

I stayed at the Corvin for one night while traveling through Budapest and found it to be well located, clean, and a very convenient home base. It is very quiet so there's usually only one person at the reception desk, but they were very helpful and spoke good English, I was even treated to a small shot of Unicum; A...

We have used the conference facilities in the house attached to the hotel. Great hotel for tourists and business travellers.

We picked this hotel for several reasons, primarily because it fit our budget, could accomodate a family of four in one room, and was accessible to tourist sites but also to the airport, as we had a very early flight out. I communicated with the hotel by email prior to our arrival; they answered all my questions and were very...

They couldn´t change our room as the hotel was fully booked. The staaf was not that helpful. Anyway the location is very quiet and it has exellent...

The building looks new or newly renovated and the inside is all new. The hotel stands in a very small but cute street not far from a subway station FERENC (blue line), and the tram stop on the other side. So, if you purchase the Budapest Card (which I would recommend for all the free public transport and the reductions...

There not being many previous reviews I was a little aprehensive booking this hotel. I am glad that I did after a brief stay. The hotel is listed as a 3 star and is probably correct as a rating. We paid 70 Euro a night inclusive of all taxes and for that we had a room with a double bed...

shopping for a large triple for a family stay of 3 nights in Budapest, the only posted review understandably gave me pause. however, research showed that Elderhostel regularly uses the Corvin for both rooms and meals, and they do not strike me as a crew that is into porno tours. We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is basic, but well...
