I've been relocated here from Gloria Hotel with no proper explanation. Given the low TA ratings of this hotel, I wouldn't have booked a room in it, if given the choice. But I ended up here and had to live with it. The hotel is a stark reminder of communism, everything is old and outdated, but at least the room...

Had a good time then, it feels like a prewar hotell. Still I found it above average and it had a good breakfast! And the waiters where funny if you tried to speak a little bit of Hungarian with them.. Hehe, good times!

There were dead insects in the ceiling's lamp, dirty towels and ants as well in the room. Excessive heat and dirty sheets with cigarettes burns...no words. In some rooms the water came out from the washbasin brown. I came there for a school trip and I didn't expect so much filth in so many rooms, and the hotel itself warned...

Poor services. Clean room, but very old furniture. Small and old bathroom. Good size bed, no minibar, missing bulbs. The noise from the very high traffic street is anoying. Parking place for the car. Maybe 1-2 star hotel.

Visited the hotel in 2012. Very old and rustic hotel, from some long forgaten era. Rooms are small, bare minimum, very very basic and modest. Breakfast was very poor. Location is ok, but nothing else is. It is cheap and if you dont require a lot.

(+) We had flat wi-fi in our room, free of charge, every day, every time, and it worked just fine. Public parking just next to the hotel is free and our car was pretty safe there. Close to the metro station. (-) Ugly from the outside, ugly from the inside, this hotel looks like a spooky, old mental institution. Extremely...

It's the worst hotel in which I have ever been. 3 stars is so unreallistic. The rooms are very old, not very clean. The staff was very polite. It is close to the metro, so you can go easily wherever you want in the city. The breakfast it is very poor, and not enought for everybody ( the staff take the food...

This is not where you go because of the ambience. The corridoors and rooms have an institutional feel. Someone suggested that the place was originally built as a lunatic-asylum :) But rooms were clean (one in our party got a smelly one, but they were immediately relocated to a non-smelly one). Location is perhaps not where you would like to...

It's the worst hotel in which I have ever been. 3 stars is so unreallistic. It's a 1 star hotel: smelly rooms, old furniture and carpets, broken plumbing in the bathroom, very poor breakfast. The guy at the reception was polite, it was the only good thing at this lousy hotel. I will never return.

Positives: - it is very close to the Metro so getting in and out of the city is easy before 11pm - the staff were friendly and helpful - the rooms were turned over every day and clean - there is wifi in the lobby and we were also just about able to get it in the room (room 222)...

“Try to ask for rooms located on back side of the building due to the heavy traffic from street side”

“I was in a room with a view to the street which is very noisy all night long and could not open the window because of the noise. But there are rooms which are more expensive and have a view on the other side of the hotel, I think they are called Superior double rooms.”
 of 5 bubbles Bulgaria87, 27 Jul 2012 | Read review
“A few rooms have a kingsize bed, but most of them are just two single juniors separated by a nightstand. Choose rooms on the inner side of building, they're quieter. And again, don't count on food or drinks to be available there, bring them with you!”
