We spent Easter weekend in this hotel, overall it wasn't that bad. The only thing was that room floor was a little bit dirty and the fortuniture was a tad old. Breakfast was alright and the stuff helped us booking a mini bus to the airport. The location was good.

The hotel is charming with nice ambiance ,great and cordial staff .wide variety of unlimited breakfast .Hotel is on very good location and a good view. Need to take care for lime scale in bath tub and in a basin.. Wi-fi is excellent. Altogether good place.Always recommended.

Staying in District I / Buda

Neighbourhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.

Receptionist can change hard currency on forints (rate as usually is not very good), but not versa. Cannot remember ATM in the hotel, but there are 3 exchange points on the station (rate is +-2% of Forex) with ATMs.

Dear Gemma,

Thank you for your question! The easiest and cheapest way to come is to book an Airport Shuttle Bus at the airport upon arrival. The price is 2500,-Huf/pax (cca. 8EUR) but maybe a surcharge will be added for the large box.

The other convenient solution is to take a taxi which takes about 8-10000,-Huf/taxi (cca.25-30EUR).

I hope I could help you and we can welcome you soon to Budapest!

Best regards,

A.Nagy
