Modern centrally located hotel. Bedrooms reasonably spacious, bathrooms very good with shower, separate bath and make-up (magnifying) mirror. Rooms well sound insulated so not disturbed by plumbing noises or other guests. Excellent breakfast room, well designed with good quality and choice of food. Staff all well trained and very helpful. Only 2 negatives: none of the rooms has any significant...

First stayed in a Kempinski hotel in Dubai a few years ago and was looking forward to staying in another Kempinski again in Budapest. Service: staff were courteous and we were always greeted whenever we were in the hotel. However, during breakfast, despite informing them our room rate was inclusive of breakfast, their system did not capture. We had to...

Unlike other ancient hotels, this hotel is very modern, clean and the rooms are spacy. The location is good, near by shopping area and restaurants, close to bus and ferry hop on hop off stop. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I stayed 2 nights during a business trip The location is good, shops closeby and close to the river. Easy access to major sights. The outside of the hotel is ok, the lobby nice, and...

Our tour organized a fun filled evening here. We enthusiastically enjoyed a 4 course meal, while being instructed by a local wine grower and listening to traditional music. The staff was entertaining, food was very good and whole night a blast. We did not stay here but the lobby and surrounding rooms were impressive too.

We enjoyed our 4 nights in this lovely hotel. It is very centrally located and is quiet. Our room was spacious and very comfortably furnished. Hints: If you enjoy a shower, do not book room 530. The shower is over the bath but the maximum height possible for the shower head is much less than 5 feet, and unfortunately it...

After leaving the Kempinski in Vienna, we were excited for our stay in this hotel in Budapest. It was a nice lobby, and the room was nice, large but not a suite. It was clean, beds were comfortable. And, this hotel was adequate but not 5 star, maybe, 4 star. Not nearly as nice as our hotel in Vienna. Bathroom...

It is not often that you find the perfect hotel at reasonable rates This is one of them. Luxurious, elegant, well designed and on top a staff that makes every effort to make you feel comfortable, it is a dream come true. Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
