Visited here for the Christmas markets with my wife and 2 young kids in late November 2017, good location, only 5 mins walk from the famous chain bridge. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory, enough hot and cold food, fruit, cereals etc to suit all tastes. Is...More

Hotel is nice and rooms are clean and nice too, but little bit small. Breakfast was good. Hotel is very near to chain bridge (300 m) and castle. But if you are looking for night life is better to be on another side of Donau.

Hungarian forint best currency to take as we found it easier than trying to work out the rate. The Carlton Hotel organised the transport from the hotel to the airport for us.

You can use Euros but we changed our money at home to the Forint as the exchange rate was better.
