The first time you get in the building you might think "where are we now" but don't let the entry fool you ! The hostel was perfect. The rooms were nice and plenty enough space. The staff was great, Tim is super helpful and made us feel like home ! He pointed us to the nice places we should visit...

Hidden in a traditional building in the center of Budapest with everything is available in walking distance. Its a small cosy atmosphere with a great family like atmosphere as Tim will try his best to make you comfortable and give you tips to travel Budapest. Would highly recommend this place if you are travelling solo and would like to meet...

This place is fantastic for young people and people who want to have a great time and meet people in budapest. They play drinking games every night to get everyone chatting. It is clean and comfortable - like being in a friend house! Tim is great and so are his staff! I can't wait to go back to tiger tims!

We had a great time staying at Tiger Tim's place. A relaxed but well-managed hostel with a very cozy and social atmosphere. The premises was quite secure and each dorm was equipped with lockers (byo lock) with safes inside. I found my bed quite comfortable as well. A mix of people but overall a younger crowd. Pub crawls are led...

This place is deep inside a historic building and the staff is amazing! You absolutely must do their pub crawl by far it was the best i have ever been on. The bars in hungary are like a small mall with numerous bars all in the same place. I met my wife at this hostel so it holds a special...

Such a good hostel! We were welcomed with a map and a list of things to do. Our room wasn't ready but we were allowed to store our bags and shower if needed. Drinking games organised every night so you get a chance to meet everyone and see the popular places to drink! Beds are comfy and facilities are good....

Felt pretty dubious when we turned up as we weren't sure if we were in the right place and the lower floors beneath the hostel were pretty grim. However once we managed to get up to the hostel we were greeted warmly and told of the local attractions on the map. Was a nice stay, no issues with fine facilities...

The hostel has such an amazing environment. The owner Tim organizes drinking games every night it's a super social hostel. Perfect for the solo travelers. The building itself is run down, but the beds are pretty comfortable, bathrooms are relativity clean. The location is pretty good it's right near a metro. The staff are awesome and really helpful If you're...

While staying at Tiger Tim's, we were greeted warmly, shown a map of the city and given suggestions for what to see/do. Make sure to read the directions to find the hostel carefully, or else you may be wandering around for a while. We stayed in a private room, which is in a separate building and on a different street...

You're right at home when you're at Tim's. By far the best hostel in Europe that I've ever stayed at. Great location, Tim gives you the best tips and will sell you cheap tickets to the baths so you can skip the queue, tells you about the must do's in Budapest. Everyone in the hostel are so social and friendly,...
