The hotel is in an excellent location--very short walk to the metro and steps from the main tourist drag. The room was nicely decorated, but the bed, which had two smaller mattresses on one larger box spring, was a disaster. The top mattresses shifted at night, leaving a big gap between them, the rest hanging over the edge, so either...

Budapest is a lovely place to visit. Needs only 3 to 4 nights though. We went for 5 nights and ended up repeating visits to places. Weather was hotter than we expected and a little humid. Really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel in ok for a short stay as it's very close to many interesting places and the tube station is 5 minutes away. However, the twin beds were very narrow and my mattress topper was sliding all the time, waking me up. The room was rather small abd we had to put our suitcases on the beds to open...

A small and cozy hotel. Location in peaceful area but near the shopping street. Bus, tram and metro stops are also close to the hotel. It was easy to go to the hotel from airport. Also close to the river. Breakfast was enough good and versatile for me. There was a quite bad soundproofing.

Nice hotel with friendly staff, located very centrally walking distance to the freedom bridge+ pedestrian street. Good breakfast (seen better but ok) a bit worn down but clean. Very soft beds. Wellness area was ok. Jacuzzi in the room is very small (I'm only 165cm and had to squeeze in)

The cleaning needs to improve. In my room the were cobwebs and squished insect on the ceiling. The windows needed cleaning , the ones along the stairs, and there was a big yellow stain on the landing on the sixth floor. These can be improved very easy .

This hotel was very nice, clean , and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was very good and the hotel is close by everything. I love the A/C since it was the hottest day of the year... Nothing could be said that is bad during our visit.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
