Good location, was clean and tidy. Huge amounts of storage for all your belongings and a clean little bathroom. Bed was comfy and warm. Good location close to metro and tram, lots of eateries in the area and plenty of supermarkets.
Spent a few nights at this hotel with friends. Conveniently located in the centre of the Jewish area with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The room was pretty basic but served its purpose. Average hotel, probably wouldn’t use it again though
We love this hotel, right in the center of the Budapest, within walking distance of all the places to visit, where cafes and restaurants are located. Some staff spoke little English and we had no problems with the agreement. Paid parking is available on site and we were able to park our car safely. Our room was very large, clean and spacious. The only negative part of the hotel is the lack of breakfast. However, since it is very close to all the places where breakfast can be made, we have solved this problem easily.
We love this hotel with my husband, right in the center of the Budapest, within walking distance of all the places to visit, where cafes and restaurants are located. Judging this hotel by price and respective room quality, it must be rated as great value for money and of an entirely acceptable standard. The room, bed and bathroom were all very good. However, the stay was spoilt by two things: We arrived very late - 01.30 - and were met by a very helpful receptionist. Sadly next morninng, after a shift change, the day receptionist was no credit to the hotel. He was unhelpful, off-hand and rude. Finally, do NOT book an airport transfer through the hotel. At the airport, using the miniBUD shuttle would have cost €20.80 for our four passengers. Using the same company, the hotel charged us €35, a rediculous mark-up.
I've been in this hotel last year with a friend and this year I came back with my boyfriend. Good location (many shoppings, restaurants, pubs around), also walking distance of many attractions. The hotel was clean, nice bed and shower. Staff very friendly and helpful. I fully recommend this hotel.
Great basic hotel in excellent location! New remodeled building, nice and friendly people at reception. Arrived late and person at reception was waiting. Room is clean, nice and spacious. Wifi worked great!. Bathroom and shower were large and convenient, although shower drained very slowly. Bed was firm but comfortable. Very affordable and in an excellent location 5 minute walk to Jewish Quarter nightlife and in between the tourist area and West town which is more of the local downtown and shopping area. You could hear the church bells chime but didn't really bother me. Would definitely stay there again!
We were 3 friends who came all the way from romania with a car. The staff were very polite. The room was big enough for 3 persons with bags, it had a closet with a safe in it. The beds were clean, the carpets were less clean. The location is great, and it has a safe parking place. We had a very good time there.
This hotel was good value for money, clean and comfortable. The only problem was that the walls were paper thin. You could hear every sound from the rooms either side. And I mean EVERY sound. There was a disco in the street at the back which was loud also. Ear plugs didn't help at all.
The place itself wasn't bad, the room was quite big, but the carpet hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. We fell asleep very hard because of the music that could be heard from the pubs around. What I didn't like it the fact that sometimes you had to wait for 10-15 min in the cold so that somebody from the reception could open the entrance for you because the main entrance was always locked and you had no key or code. The price is very good. Pay attention! The bathroom is not fully equipped - no hairdryer.
