The apartment we stayed at was spacious and centrally located and the rate we got was a real deal. WiFi was good and the decor was nice. The only thing I might write as a dissapointment was the fact that the whole place seemed a bit run down, as if the management stopped caring about the state of the apartments...

Fantastic location, very spacious apartment with all the facilities you need (has mini bar but no tea and coffee) beds are big and comfy and really nice bathrooms. Great wide selection of food and drinks at breakfast (continental) Really friendly staff and big secure car park, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Upon checking in we were very surprised at how nice the foyer was. We had a swift check in and given directions to our room. Lovely open plan living/kitchen/bedroom area with floor to ceiling windows. Not much to look at but who spends time looking out of the window. Comfortable seating area, the tv could have done with a few...

I booked a room here on Hotwire and got a good price for a longer stay. Was a little worried after reading reviews, especially about location. That I didn't really get, perfect spot for lots of restaurants, bars, and nightlife, with metro access right out the door if you want to get to the tourist center without walking (though the...

We booked this room because it's showing as a 5 star hotel, it is not, the hotel is not a bad hotel but a 3.5 or 4 star at the most . Location just okay, I would suggest Marriott by the river much more than this hotel. Allot of thing are not working or in bad condition when we arrived....

Booked this on an impulse and have been pleasantly surprised. The apartment is really well equipped and well located. About 20mins walk to the river and centre but lots of good bars and restaurants very close by.

I booked this place for our family of five because of the wonderful reviews I saw. We travelled to Hungry in what would be the busiest travel months. Although we had paid for a two bedroom apartment, when we arrived, we were told the hotel was overbooked and they gave us a unit with one bedroom and a sofa bed...

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Boscolo Residence. The room was very spacious and brilliantly modern with an artistic flare. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The view overlooked a very sunny interior courtyard making it very pleasant and quiet. Breakfast had a good assortment of options. The coffee machine had a few mislabeled optoins...

My husband and I love to travel. We go to Europe each summer for about a month. We had never been to Budapest before, and really loved it. The Boscolo Residence is a part of it's fancier Boscolo Luxury hotel. You are literally behind the main hotel, which also houses the New York Café (one of the biggest attractions in...

A really well located apartment hotel at very reasonable rates. We had a grand suite on the fourth floor facing the inner courtyard. No view just of interest but very peaceful and quiet. The apartment was large, very clean and serviced daily. Staff were very obliging. A perfect stay.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
