The location is good, right at the river and Vaci Ut and there is the tram nr. 2 along the river, and a metro right nearby. The room is clean although not spacious. They do have a killer breakfast with fresh orange juice etc etc etc. but the meals are taken in a big hall (really feels like a big...

We enjoyed our stay here. Very centrally located and pleasant service. We were very impressed with the hotels proactivity in recommending a series of restaurants before we arrived and which the hotel booked for us - we took 2 of the suggestions and they were both excellent. It was our wedding anniversary and the hotel let the restaurant they booked...

We've stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. The room are a small (as well as the closet for the clothes), but who stays the whole day in the room anyway. It works best to contact the hotel for a personal offer, which is better than regular booking sites. The breakfast is perfect, everything is available (even champaign) and in...

Transfer from airport is a nice touch but it was a little weird that the guy standing with are names had to start calling somewhere and find the next guy who´s driving us but when we finally got to the old Ford, it was ok :) I mostly chose the hotel from the great rank in here. I didn´t really...

This was perhaps my wife and I's first ever stay in an independent boutique hotel and we were impressed - by the attention to detail, the attentive staff, superb breakfast and unique room decor. The only slight drawbacks were the tight seating in the breakfast room and that room's subterranean location.

Having stayed here on a great deal last year, we decided to stay again 2 days before our wedding and recommended it to our wedding guests. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable and kitsch. The breakfast is a particular highlight, especially the champagne. The hotel is a great base for exploring a fascinating city and...

Close to pedestrian shopping street and close to river; concierge gave us recommendations to two wonderful restaurants (one of which was the nearby Chef's Cafe). Clean and comfortable and very quiet. Reservation included a welcome cocktail and a free bottle of water each day.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
