Stayed here for 3 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment with my gf. The location was perfect in a lively area with bars, restaurants and markets; and was only a short walk away from the centre of Budapest. There was also a bike docking station right outside which was ideal for getting about. The hotel could be quite loud at...

The apartment is in a good location. It's close to public transport and seasonal markets and the square has several restaurants where you can grab a drink or a quick bite. The facility itself was clean and was equipped with the basic essentials. The dishwasher does not work and is not hooked up to water. The maid staff was kind...

I stayed here twice recently and on both occasions had a wonderful time. Gozsdu is a vibrant area in Central Pest, full of restaurants and bars, close to the main transport hub at Deak ter. The apartments were comfortable, scrupulously clean, excellently equipped with everything necessary for a self-catering vacation and were outstanding value for money. Nothing had been forgotten...

The hotel is in the heart of the city. Metro station Deak Ferenc ter (M1, M2, M3) is 3-4 minutes walk. Just out of the appartments there are a lot of cafes, bars and restaurants that also serve breakfast. The area is safe enough and supermarkets are very close. Appartments are clean, comfortable and fully equipped. However, there is some...

Just got back from a two night stay here and honestly don't have a bad word to say. Staff very friendly, apartment was quite basic but clean and spacious. The area is great, close to everything you'd want to get to and plenty of lively bars and restaurants below the apartments themselves. It was a little bit noisy (karaoke bar...

Superb location in the middle of a busy pub and restaurant area and lovely apartment. Staff more than friendly. We had an accident with the table when my girlfriend Diane sat on it and it broke. We offered to pay but they waived the charge. Recommend+++++ D- Ireland

The Gozsdu Court Apartments are located in serveral small blocks along a narrow, pedestrianised, side street in an interesting part of Budapest (on the Pest side of the city). We discovered that this is actually an area where the old Jewish Ghetto was located, and has only been renovated relatively recently after years of abandonment. Other than a few plaques...

Excellent apartment with three bedrooms, kitchen and living room. Lots of space. Central location surrounding by restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Great pizza across the street. The central metro stop is within short walking distance. Grocery store is very close. Great for families. For us it was too noisy at nights, even with windows closed

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
