I stayed a month in Gold Apartments during my Budapest work. The apartment is big with 2 rooms , kitchen, bathroom, wc, balcony. I never used the kitchen, I prefer went to the restaurant next door, where I had great breakfast and dinner.

Apartments are find, cheap and large. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Location is also very central, only 10 minutes to any city center point. Restaruant is also very good, fine foods, delecious, fresh vegetables, nice fishes. Buffet breakfast is also good choice. Highly recommended! We will return.

This fine apartment house is in the city center, next to a hotel named Gold Hotel Wine & Dine. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel's restaurant. The apartment is big, comes with 2 rooms, kitchen, dinning area, bathroom, toilet, balcony. Price is moderate. We could rent an air-conditioning for only 10 euro.

Gold Apartments is a fantastic choice for a family in central Budapest. We did not have to cook every day, as we could use all the facilities in the next door hotel. The apartment is very large with 2 rooms, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and dining area. I could smoke on the balcony, which is also fine. We would return.

Lovely friendly staff who went out of their way to help . Breakfast was in the hotel so we had to walk across from the apartment but this was on problem . Free WIFI and enough room for 5 people; not luxury but as we were out sightseeing most of the time this was fine . Only downside is that...

We succeed to book a very large apartment with 20% off for 3 nights. It is difficult to find accommodation with 3 children, but here we succeed. We walked to the main building for breakfast. It was ok. We would return.

Staying in Gellert Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Gellert Hill
If you want to treat your camera to some amazing scenery, Gellért Hill is a must on your itinerary. A funicular journey from the Chain Bridge along the hillsides provides a fast connection between Buda and Pest, hoisting visitors to panoramic vistas. Once on top of the hill, you’ll find the Citadel dominate the landscape with its imposing 19th century construction, a site that’s hard to keep your eyes on without being distracted by the phenomenal view over the Danube and the eight bridges crossing. Once on Gellért Hill however, one mustn’t miss the famous Gellért Baths. Budapest is renown for its thermal waters and its baths, and the Gellért Baths are housed in an impressive art nouveau structure. Its interior design, with its many mosaics, recalls the preceding relationships the city has had with healing springs and saunas, traditionally used within this neighborhood since the Ottoman Empire.
