very friendly staff, feels like home. It did bother me a little to have to ring the door bell each time we wanted to get into the hotel, room was awesome, very colorful and bright...I have to say though that it was maybe too hot? Breakfast could have been more assorted but overall we had an excellent stay at cosmo.

Cosmo City Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel, located in section 5 of Budapest. Besides being a great value for the money, the hotel's location is near many fine dining options, near the historic bridge connecting Pest with Buda, and one block from the Danube River. A real find.

Rooms, staff, location were very nice, close to the city center, very clean rooms and staff very helpful.. The breakfast has possibilities to get better adding some extra things like cake or slices of cheese and not cubes, some sweets and something typical Hungarian trying to keep them warm,

Outside the airport you get the 200E bus for 350 Forint (1 GBpound) and took 30-40 minutes which takes you to the Metro M3 blue line, cost again 350 Forint, for about 10 minutes...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
