When we arrived at the apartment (having been picked up from the airport by Zoltan) the area around the building was buzzing with people and I was initially worried that the location was too lively and we would be kept awake all night. But once inside the apartment we couldn’t hear a thing (we were on the fourth floor) and...

t was lovely having an apartment with kitchen, dishes, washing machine. Central location in Pest side of Budapest 4 blocks to the metro. In the city near restaurants and bars so there is some street noise well into the night.

Despite a slight hitch at the airport quickly resolved via a few texts, our host was beyond compare. Zoltan, the owner manager, drove us to our rooms via a wonderful city orientation tour. We were impressed! He remained helpful throughout our stay. Took us a while to orient to the rooms, jet lagged we did not realize the windows were...

When I booked this place, I put in a special request for directions from the OrangeWays bus stand in Budapest. I have to say that i got the most accurate directions from Andrea. When we reached Budapest, we followed her directions to the point and were at the apartments in about 20 minutes!!! She was so helpful, it was just...

Everytime I visit Budapest I usually stay at an apartment. For me it's more convenient and comfortable than staying in a room at a hotel. This time I stayed at the Innercity Aprtments in Budapest for a few days. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the first floor. I have to say I was very happy with everything....

I stayed here for nine days on my first visit to Budapest. It has been an excellent choice; clean, affordable, comfortable and so close to everything a visitor could want. The kitchen was well-equipped, even down to a coffee maker (I had forgotten to bring my travelling press). The owner or manager met me when I arrived and took the...

We stayed in for a week. It wasn't our first time in Budapest and this time we were pretty lucky with the accomodation. The apartments are in very central point and really close to all public transpotation a visitor may need. A few very nice cafes, restaurants and bars are in a few meters away. The owner is very helpful...

Everything about this apartment was great. It was spacious, clean. We had a washing machine (no dryer) but there were two airers to hang clothes on. Zoltan, the owner was very helpful. He rang a taxi to take us to the train station in the afternoon even though we had booked out in the morning. There is 24 hour security in...

Zoltan arranged transport from the airport for us at a minimal cost. It was great after a long flight to be escorted to our accomodations. He and his wife own 16 apartments in the building. Our apartment was unbelievable! 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining, 2 and a half baths, 2 balconies and right in the center of Pest, easy walking distance...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
