We stayed at Nova apartment for 8days. It has perfect location! Only 3mins walk to metro station. Excellent restaurants (ig. Magdalena merlo etterem, Trofea grill, both very cheap and excellent food) and cafes (ig. New York cafe) about 5-10mins walk from the apartment. Lots of grocery stores very close too. Basically close to everything: Even our 4yrs old kid was...

We arrived before check in time and were allowed to place our bags in the storage room so we could go out and tour, that was nice. The room was large, nice, and well appointed with everything we would need should we choose to eat in which we did a time or two after long days of touring. The staff...

We were a big group in 2 apartments. Space was adequate. However, washing machines and dishwashers were not working in both apartments. The redeeming point was that the staff washed the laundry for us. Had to ask for drying rack to hang in apartment. Mattresses not good - no support or thin. One bed was sunken in the middle. The...

Had a lovely stay in Nova Hotel - was clean and well located! Bars and restaurants were all in walking distance, as were many sights (although a Metro station was also very nearby). For the price the apartment was also very spacious.

Very comfortable, although somewhat plainly decorated, apartments near to tourist areas in Pest side of Budapest, Hungary. We had a kitchen in our two bedroom apartment for 5 family members touring together and this place more than served all of our needs. We could easily walk to the metro, hop on/hop off bus stations, or ask the front desk to...

I traveled along with 4 of my friends in May 2015 and stayed at this place for 2 nights. Apartment was overall nice and comfortable. Room was clean and had basic amenities. They had a fully equipped kitchen. Folks at the reception were really nice to us. They helped us mark all the destinations which were either walkable or at...

A Sense of the City with Comfortable Accommodations We enjoyed our three weeks at the Nova Apartments. Because of the length of time we were going to be in Budapest a hotel seemed like it would be cramped. We opted to stay in a one bedroom apartment. The location was the best part of the accommodations. It was easy to...

Mature couple enjoyed extra space to move around this lovely 1 bedroom apartment. We bought breakfast items around the corner & used fully equipped kitchenette to have leisurely breakfast. Rose Restaurant 2 doors down was excellent for $30 dinner with live violinist! Note free strong WiFi & laundry (wash only) plan time to dry on provided drying rack!

I had the pleasure to stay here for a night and being an avid traveller, I don't usually book apartments for my stay. This time, I simply had to because I only had to pay 30 Eur for such a wonderful place which is only a few hundred metres away from the underground station. The receptionists were really friendly and...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
