Travel Agents honest review!! I stayed here on the 15th March 2015 for 4 nights and fell in love with it as soon as we walked through the revolving door. The lobby is large and impressive and reception staff waiting to greet you with a smile. We had booked a standard room and had informed them it was our anniversary...

We enjoyed our three night stay at the Continental Hotel Zara Budapest where the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were a little disappointed in the size of our room and en suite which were on the small side. However, it did not spoil our stay in what was otherwise an excellent hotel.

Excellent venue for a business trip. Close to city centre, river and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. Sitting in the bar is an experience, you really get a feel of the hotels history. Recently rebuilt and refurb, however retains the Art Deco feel of the time it was a bath.

We have just got back from this Hotel, immaculate friendly clean and would definitely recommend to anyone, the only thing I can complain about is that at the end checking out we were given a bill for £25.00 this was for using the pool & Jacuzzi for a total of an hour and half over two days, we were never...

The Continental Zara is a sizable (270 rooms) modern hotel, yet it does not feel that big. The whole hotel has been renovated in 2010. The facade is classy, the lobby impressive and the gallery coffee-lounge bar is amazing with its view into the courtyard. Service was efficient and friendly too. Room is neatly designed, though the materials feel a...

Clean hotel, very courteous staff. The staff are very helpful when it comes to asking for directions. The rooms were well cleaned and the cleaners were very thorough. Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
