Great position, close to the center of the city. Clean. The breakfast was served in a very tiny room, just few people have the possibility to eat on the table. just one thing: please change the elevator because it was very creepy!

Location, location, location - absolutely perfect. A few minutes walking distance to many of the popular sights and restaurant streets. Buses and metro is also just a brief walk away. Our stay was what you'd expect given the ratings on TripAdvisor. The room was a promised, spacious and (relatively) clean. There was dust in the corners, but given the price...

This hostel is in a fabulous location, very close to the Metro and easy walking distance to Parliament and St. Stephen's Basilica. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was nice enough. Our only complaint with the room was that the only bathroom on the floor wasn't really adequate for the number of people staying (my friends and...

Room was spacious, clean and quiet, good value. We rent the double room with the share bedroom but did not expect it to be that large. Staff was nice and friendly and welcoming. The location was great. The Danube could be reach in 15 mins by walk. We also order the drive offered by the hostel. It was cheap and...

- Staff overall quite friendly and gave good instructions and recommendations, but not always available. The transport driver from airport was half-an-hour late, without an apology. - Breakfast rather lousy, except for nice tea selection. - Great location and good privacy, as room was also spacious. - Although not private bathroom, private kitchen was generous and the room was good....

The hostel is well maintained, with great front desk staff all around the clock working and helping tourists for any info. The location was perfect, right next to Arany Utca station, so metro connectivity is best. You can walk to the some of major budapest's attarctions like the stephen's church and the parliament. Breakfast is basic. Great value for money,...

Staff were accommodating and super helpful. For me, I have been to Budapest many times and they were able to offer recommendations of things to do and see that...

The hostel is located in the very city centre. It is within reach of the biggest landmarks of Budapest. While staying in Boomerang Hostel, there is no need to buy a bus or metro ticket as it is easy to walk almost everywhere. The staff are great, very helpful, always at your disposal. the only minus though is too little...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
