We stayed in the appartments of a hostel with our friends-two couples. The room was as shown on a picture, clean, modern and very warm. Ih has all the things you need and even more. The hostel is situated in very convenient place in the center of the city, so we could get anywhere by foot. We also used the...

I spent there 2 nights. It was clean, the staff was friendly. The toilets weren't bad. The kitchen was nice, small but roomy if you think of this place as a house. If you are looking for a place to just sleep it is perfect for you.

This is one of the best hostels in Europe (by awards) and it definitely deserves it - very well connected with great advice on what you want to do. Walking distance to the Istvan basilica and you can take the hop on hop off buses from that place. Very close to the main street which has the opera, and has...

Airport transfer didn't arrive, we waited for 40 minutes and had to take a cab instead. Wi-fi didn't work the whole time. Sheets had holes in them. Doorknobs were falling off. On the second day heating broke down. Staff refused to provide another room and we couldn't stay in a freezing apartment, so we decided to leave. Staff was extremely...

My boyfriend and I just got back from staying here. We had an apartment for 3 nights which was 2 minutes walk from the Danube, 5 minutes walk from Parliament or St Stephen's Basilica. We arrived late but were warmly welcomed and shown to our apartment, which is just a few minutes walk from the hostel itself. The hostel is...

We decided to choose one of these appartments because of the location, and because they looked acceptable in the pictures. We requested one of them specifically, but they said it is not possible to choose. AT THIS POINT, WE SHOULD HAVE CHANGED OUR MIND. We could only have a confirmation for a double bed. Well, upon arrival, we were given...

Hostel is in a central location and easy to get to. Kinda looks a it dodge when you come out of the train station though. Fancy restaurants just two streets down. The front door is always locked so push number 11 on the buzzer. The staff were really friendly, but that's about it. The breakfast was very basic. The showers...

Great position, close to the center of the city. Clean. The breakfast was served in a very tiny room, just few people have the possibility to eat on the table. just one thing: please change the elevator because it was very creepy!

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
