Very basic and could do with some new beds! Unfortunately it wasn't until 7:30AM we were aware some major renovations were taking place here! (Don't you just love waking up to the sound of drilling in your ear?) But location is great though! Right next to the park with one of the best Spas in Budapest! Or you can just...

When we first arrived and saw the scary old building we thought we should brave it and add it to the travel experience. The room we were given was not liveable, the beds were probably made from straw with rotten looking wool on top, and ragged blankets on top. In the corner of the room there was a tiny room...

Stayed for 8 days with a friend. Private rooms, 7€ per person in August 2014. Definitely worth the money. This place is really basic, don't expect anything else than a bed and a shower (wifi in the hall). It's clean enough, the location is nice, the staff quite friendly and I found the security really good.

This hostel is a student dorm from september-june, so it's not very new. Cheap, though! The rooms are a bit shabby (bare walls, old stickers on the doors) but they are clean. The toilets and showers are also clean. The kitchen is very basic (= don't try to cook there, we tried boiling water for pasta and after half an...
