We had a lovely stay in the Palazzo Zichy hotel on our honeymoon to Budapest. We were delighted to be upgraded to a junior suite and to receive a complimentary fruit bowel and thank you card from the staff. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern, with a heated mirror and a large... More

I am not sure what I like most about this hotel. I can't really explain why it is only classed as a four star, either. When you walk in the first thing you notice in the stunning interior design. Every surface has a little something to it. I've often found that when people do this there ends up being clashes... More

The pictures for the hotel don't do it credit, its even nicer... and offers the correct balance of friendliness, fast service, is ultra clean, provides a great selection of food for breakfast (delicious little chilli sauce), offers complementary QUALITY cappuccino, tea's and mineral water throughout the day. Sleep quality... not a sound all night.... can a place be too quite... More

Great hotel in a good location for sightseeing. Complimentary breakfast was fabulous. The junior suite with jacuzzi bath was great. The Kaltenberg was great for eating & beer, just down the road at Kinizsi utca 30-36 A great base for a weekend break.

From before we arrived to when we were leaving, this hotel could not have been more professional, helpful and efficient. It is a little out of the shopping district but this is a welcome rest from the hustle and bustle. It is quite breathtaking when you first walk in through the old doors from the church courtyard outside. The reception... More

We stayed at this hotel on 21 and 22 November - from arriving to sent off everything was perfect - we enjoyed the breakfast and the fact that we could do our own juice. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the nearest underground station and close to a couple of nice restaurants which the reception advised us about.... More

This was a wonderful hotel with great service and superb breakfast! The hotel has an old/new world charm! Simply beautiful! It is located on the Pest side of Budapest and the neighborhood was a bit sketchy and non appealing, but it was quiet and we didnt encounter any problems.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would certainly recommend it again. from the minute we walked in the gentleman at the front desk upgraded us to a suite and I can't tell you how beautiful the room was. Very nice hotel in a good location, We found the restaurant very busy at breakfast time but there was never a shortage of food or choice .Complimentary fruit, tea and coffee were excellent . Very good wi-fi connection throughout and staff were very helpful. The only negative we had was inconsiderate neighbours which we could hear through the walls. Fantastic... More

Located within walking distance of a major traffic junction connecting you to most of the city sights, it is still quite away from the city noise to allow for a decent rest. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast buffet rich and the service level excellent. The gym is a bit lacking, but the saunas make up for it... More
