Flew into Budapest for 24 hours. Hotel was right in the middle of everything. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Nice room. Highly recommended for the price. One improvement - A shower screen in the bathroom

We really enjoyed this hotel right on the main shopping street and near all the key attractions. Breakfast was a small but fresh buffet. The bed was great. Firm. Front desk team was friendly and knowledgeable. Only complaint was no shower curtain.

This hotel is in a great location on the main shopping street. There are many restaurants and bars close by and most attractons in Pest are within walking distance. The room was clean and tidy and the staff attentive. The only slight problem is breakfast, not enough room and not enough appliances,( coffee machine, toaster)

We have recently returned from a wonderful trip to Budapest. We stayed at the ideally located Promenade City Hotel and cannot speak highly enough of this hotel and staff members, in particular Greg who was always happy to advise and help in any way he could whilst providing an informative insight into everyday life in Hungary. As avid theatregoers we...

Wow what can we say. This hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of everything. In the middle of the bars/restaurants/shops. The hotel staff are absolutely amazing. The receptionist could not be more helpful. The place is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was a huge range of different foods. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom is great with...

Hotel is clean, new furnitures, friendly hotel workers, good location and enough breakfast. If i had a hotel, i would want one like this :) . I only miss a pool or wellness section, but not all the hotels have something like that.

Just arrived home from a stay at the Promenade City Hotel. We used the hotels airport shuttle which actually turned out to be a private taxi, and was cheaper than it would have been to pick up a taxi at the airport (it is about a 30 minute drive). The hotel is located right in the centre of the busy...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
