Pension Lectar is a 250 year old building which also has a ginger bread museum and workshop. This tradition of making ginger breads has been passed on from generations since the past few centuries. If you want to experience a traditional Slovenian family stay this is the place to stay in and have homely Slovenian food. The dinner presentations was...

Pension Lectar was a good choice for a night on the way hiking to Slovenia. Rooms are cute, very romantic old fashioned way. The house itself is old and rustic with interesting decor. It feels that you are staying at a museum or in the grandma's place. Beds were truly soft and the bed linen was like burlap :) Due...

Received a recommendation from a local who suggested we make a short trip to the town of Radovljica for lunch at Lectar. Definitely worth the trip, authentic, cozy dining room, but many seating options, can accommodate large groups. We started with soups, beef noodle & the mushroom served in a crisp bread bowl, both excellent options. I ordered the typical...

It used to be one of the best restaurant between mountains and Home but it Is not anymore. Wines are overpriced, place needs renovation, Food just average. Radovljica Is nice village to visit but maybe there are better places for dinner now.

Great little hotel in the centre of Radovljica. Stayed one night on way to Bled golf course. Authentic and quirky decor, very friendly staff and a great restaurant. Food was tasty and servings generous. Rooms had great view over the main square.

Experience warm hospitality and a great night's sleep. Staff are very helful and friendly. They dress in period costumes. The room had air conditioning and a modern bathroom. The breakfast had a good variety of items. The restaurant garden view of the local scenery including mountains is relaxing and peaceful. Church bells can be heard in the morning. My favorite...

We attended a cousins birthday party in a private room at Gostilna Lectar. The food, wine, table decorations and service were all exceptional. The owner gave an outstanding performance playing the harmonica as a special treat. We were give a tour of Radovljica and of the anchient art of making gingerbread.

Pension Lectar is one beautiful small family hotel, staff is very friendly and ready to help at any moment, hotel is very clean and rooms are quite cosy. Hotel location is great, in centre of main square in Radovljica. Breakfast is good and tasty but there could be more dishes served. But generally everything was great.
