Okay, there are stains on the carpet and mattress but upon arrival I was given a clean set of sheets. The location can't be beat. The reception was friendly and extremely helpful. I slept peacefully. I stayed 5 nights and would return again. They also allowed my dog Nefertiny, in a double room only.

this hostel is dirty, lousy and uncomfortable. We paid 55 euros for a real nice hotel and we paid 45 euros per person for this hostel which had a huge difference. Definitely not worth paying anything for this hostel, because the rooms are really dirty, so are the bathrooms, and the common area is just next to the rooms, so... More

Not the greatest place, but no major problems. A bit dirty. Bathrooms and beds pretty average. Noisy main st location but convenient. But location good so still good enough place to stay for a night or two.

We initially tried for two beds at the other Alibi Hostel in Ljubljana and were directed to this hostel as they were full. The information at the reception desk advertises that the hostel has a guest kitchen and laundry - this hostel has neither. We were advised that we were free to use the facilities in the other hostel, a... More

Contrary to the other reviews, I liked our stay at this hostel! We stayed here for three nights and met some amazing people. The atmosphere at the hostel was so social you just get sucked into it. The rooms are not that clean but I had no problem whatsoever with bed bugs. And the location was just amazing. Right by... More

This is the worst accommodation my wife and I have ever stayed at. We have travelled throughout Europe, North America, Australasia and Thailand and have never had a worse experience. The rooms smelled, the bedding was inadequate and torn, the pillows stunk and there was no heating. The toilets smelled and the seat in the mens was broken/split and could... More

We stayed here only two nights: the first night was one of us badly bitten, the second one we slept on the floor in own sleeping bags. When I showed the bedbug to the receptionist, she looked suprised and told me to tell the owner. (But according to other review they donˇt do anything.) We stayed in many hostels and... More

This hostel does the bare minimum to be acceptable. The dorm rooms smell rank, even when they were empty. The common room is functional, but not condusive to socialzing. No kitchen, tv, bar. It does have wifi, and one computer with free Internet. The staff were helpful. Notably, some of the other guests in other rooms complained of bed-bug infestations...... More

After 10 years of staying in hostels this was, by far, the WORST experience EVER! The manager/operator STOLE our money and put fraudulent charges on my credit card. DO NOT STAY HERE. Go stay at the Hostel Celica by the train station. It is a little walk from downtown, but well worth it. Regardless of where you stay, don't stay... More

This place advertises itself as fun and funky. The funky part about staying here is that they never clean. Stayed here for 2 nights and never saw the bathrooms being cleaned. I am not even sure if the trash was ever emptied. In fact, I never saw anyone even working here except for the front desk person. If you're a... More
