We spent three nights in Ljubljana at Hotel Allegro and it was beautiful! The hotel has wonderful character and charm. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, a selection of meat, cheese, eggs and pastries. The hotel is located just on the edge of the main part of Ljubljana and nothing is too far away! I would recommend...

Really lovely hotel in a beautiful old building minutes from everything that Ljubljana has to offer. Lots of antique furniture and a lovely little courtyard out the back which is very quaint indeed. I found the rooms to be quite tastefully decorated with very nice dark woods and interesting little features that make this place quite quirky. Nothing is too...

Friendly staff, comfortable room and bathroom. The breakfast, without any surprise, could be slightly improved. The house is cosy... and really ancient, therefore without any lift: Do not come with a heavy luggage. Less details of decoration would stress the charm of the place... As a summary, a good place for discovering Ljubljana by walking.

The Allegro Hotel is a bit less than a hotel, and a bit more than a bed and breakfast. It is in between. There is no lift or elevator here, so, unless there is a burly man at the front desk, you will have to carry your luggage up to your room. The breakfast is perfectly fine, but not what...

Wevhad a room across the courtyard on the 3rd floor. While it's not easy to get the luggage up the stairs there is always someone to help. It's sooooo conveniently located to the town square, restaurants etc. They offer unique cordials in the lobby and breakfast is well varied and plentiful.

Fantastic location, small boutique type hotel. Very helpful front desk staff and beautiful patio for breakfast if the weather is good if not cellar type dining area. Perfect breakfast. May be not a 4* but would very much recommend this hotel.

I want to start off by saying the front desk is the salvation and the glue that keeps the Allegro Hotel running. They were the first real faces I put to my experience of Slovenia and they established a continuing impression of a people and a nation that is unselfconsciously happy, genuinely friendly, and unfailingly gracious (well, with the single...

We did not stay at this hotel but we popped in when we were lost because the shuttle bus dropped us off in completely the wrong place . The man at reception was so welcoming and friendly, helped us find our actual hotel and called a free shuttle for us to get to our hotel. We would never have found...
