My fiance proposed to me on a Tatra hike and I had the honor of staying at Aries to relax afterward. The location is fantastic and the staff allowed us to secure our luggage prior to our stay in order to hike hands-free. The rooms were comfortable and had a traditional flare. There were hot tubs outside and a really comfortably warm pool with sweet lighting. We were extremely impressed by the spa, free saunas, and hot rooms. Many different sauna rooms so you can have a room to yourself. Our favorite thing was the breakfast. It was the fanciest breakfast buffet and the people working there constantly had a smile on their face.
We have just returned from 4 nights staying at Aries. It was our second visit and we were impressed by the hotel and would return again. From our room we had a lovely view of the mountains from each of the different windows (lots of little windows as well as big ones each with lovely views!) our room with a very good family room with stairs leading up to a room for the teenage children with 2 single beds. Lovely bathroom with freestanding bath, again with mountain views from the bath. Good food in the restaurant though not quite as good as when we came in 2019- we believe the chef has changed. Lovely pool area -we really enjoyed the pool and outdoor Jacuzzis. Generally good customer service. A few tiny points could be improved. We enjoyed eating in the bar area for more relaxed food like burgers. We needed more ketchup and we were told firmly we had to wait for it to be sent from the kitchen, we waited quite a long time. We wanted milk in our room and I went down to reception to ask for it and was told to go back to the room and phone the restaurant for the milk. Very small things but just examples of where the customer service could be even better. Very good female manager at breakfast with good English who always knew the right thing to say, she was very nice. On the reception desk it was just men- it would be nice to have a female on the front desk.…
Very beautiful hotel centrally located in Zakopane. Beautiful room with an amazing view from the balcony and comfortable bed. Good spa facilities, superb breakfast. Only minor complaints is unstable internet and sound from other rooms as the sound proofing could be better.
First trip to Zakopane for my partner. We choose the best hotel possible. Located right in the centre, next to Krupowki. Decor very traditional, all needed amenities available. Very impressive pool and outdoor jacuzzi! SPA offer with good selection . Spectacular breakfast! With sparkling wine and many oscypek options! Hotel already recommended to our friends !
Outstanding hotel in its service, location, spa amenities, excellent breakfast. Rooms were clean and spacious, staff was very kind. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Zakopane year-round: that’s the place. Definitely will come back in the future.
Rooms, spa, kid’s playrooms, consierge, hotel staff great. Sauna 18+ which seems to be some polish rule and can prove problematic if you raised your kids to be sauna users. Lobby bar - disaster. Breakfasts could be better: freshly cooked egg station and freshly squeezed juices, but overall not bad. Ski rental great and helpful.
I loved our week's stay at Aries Hotel & Spa! Although there was an initial mix up with the rooms, the management and staff dealt with this in a super professional manner and offered a generous rebate for an inconvenience. That's what you call a 5-star service! And service is what you'd appreciate at Aries hotel, from their reception desk/concierge, through the room service, housekeeping, Aries Spa or their Restaurants: Halka and Le Scandale Aperitif Bar. The staff are faultless at Aries; it's something that really makes this hotel very special! We loved the Michelin quality restaurant Halka - the food is beautiful and artfully presented. We ate at least four times during our stay there as it was a shame not to! We regretted venturing on night five to so-called restaurant No 1 (on Trip Advisor) in Zakopane, and honestly, there was no competition for food quality, ambience, and service. The devil is in the detail, and Aries oozes it. The hotel is exquisitely designed inside and out, and the rooms are gorgeous - tastefully finished, quirky and spotless! The location is perfect with a beautiful view of the mountains and very close to all the attractions. The ambience is serene - a real treat for jazz lovers. The Aries Spa was to die for! Try their signature Aries or an authentic Thai massage – the treatments were amazing! A facial with peeling is also highly recommended! We had an effortlessly arranged pick up/drop off from Krakow/the airport and travelled safely in comfort (ask for the hotel’s diver - he was faultless!). We loved it so much, we've already enquired about staying at Aries for Christmas as we believe it will be a truly magical experience!…
Attractive hotel with very pleasing decor set in Zakopane one of the ugliest most crowded places I have ever visited. Restaurant food and service is poor and breakfast is an horrific event , you have to fight for a table usually not cleared from the previous guests. Then fight your way through hordes of children and their awful parents the noise and mess makes breakfast not worth the effort . Coming from the U.K. I imagine we paid a premium the mainly Poles staying here must get it at a bargain price this not a 5 star hotel as you know it. Packed full of 2 star guest!!
This hotel is in the ideal location for a winter holiday. We have recently returned and I can honestly say the hotel and staff were amazing. As you enter the hotel lobby it sets the scene for the rest of the hotel and holiday. It has most definitely put us in the Christmas spirit. We went up the mountains which has stunning views. The location was ideal for shopping right by the Main Street. I am a fussy eater and don’t like spicy food but in Zakopane they cater for all. Breakfast has a huge choice of different foods and the restaurant staff are lovely nothing is too much for them. I would definitely recommend Christmas time to visit if your like me and love everything about Christmas. Hopefully next year I will be back god willing 🙏🏻
We spent a week in Aries hotel and we’ve been truly amazed by the hotel design both sides- inside and out and the service provided. Stuff very polite and helpful, most of them speaks English. We didn’t have any awkward situations, everyone makes us feel special and well looked after. Our room was huge, very clean and high standard. Nice, modern bathroom. Bathrobe and slippers provided so comfortable to moving around pool/spa areas. Breakfast very nice. Buffet includes plenty of different cold and hot food and desserts. Very good quality special selected teas and speciality coffees available and much more. We have really enjoyed using the pool and hot tubes. Hotel location is fantastic , only 1 min to Krupowki where is a lot of shops and restaurants as a main street in Zakopane. Car park included in price too. Not the cheapest hotel, but it’s definitely a 5* and you won’t be disappointed. We will be back one day :)…
