One of my favorite hotels in Zakopane!

Pros:
Location
Design
FOOD
Restaurant Halka
Drink Bar
Kids outdoor playground
SPA
Outdoor jacuzzi
Good quality cosmetics in the bathroom
Water in the room
Comfortable slippers and bathrobes
Concierge
Very friendly staff
Quick room service

Cons:
Quite pricey for Poland prices
Very rude receptionist (long dark hair)
Water in the room not always replaced by the housekeeping
Concierge often not in his office (not to be found)
Room service order costs 30 zl extra (service fee...)
Rooms facing the parking very loud during the weekends
A huge wheel (Zakopane Eye ?😂) just outside, spoiling the evening view and creating extra noise (also visible from some rooms)
Windows difficult to reach (to open/close when needed)

In summary, I think it’s one of the best places to stay in Zakopane-especially if you are a foodie! Food is to die for (breakfast & Halka Restaurant).
I can highly recommend that place. Still. 6 years since my last visit there 😁

This hotel was absolutely out of this world. It made our holiday from start to finish.

The Hotel:

The food at this hotel was next level. If you are a steak lover you must get the steak. It comes still cooking on a sizzling platter and was so tender and beautiful. My boyfriend also had the rabbit dish for starters which he said was the best starter he has ever had in a restaurant (he eats a lot so this is a huge compliment).

The breakfast was amazing. There is so much variety and you can go up as many times as you want. It’s also included in the room but even if it wasn’t we would have paid to have it! Was absolutely amazing. Also don’t worry about being completely dressed up as I went down in the slippers provided by the hotel most times!

The Hotel itself:

The hotel was so beautiful. Everything was exceptionally clean. The staff are so friendly and truly went out of their way to help you.

Whilst you stay here make sure you try out the spa facilities. The sauna was amazing as was the hot tub that was outside surrounded by snow. We didn’t get to try out the steam room as this was not working but everything else made up for this!

The bar staff are brilliant and make amazing cocktails! Anything we asked for we got made! We also was debating what to get, he asked as what type of stuff we like and made us one that he come up with. My boyfriend loved it so much he asked for the recipe. We did try the nightclub Le Scandale however this isn’t really our scene. The drinks were lovely though. We spent a lot of our evenings here in Le Scandale bar at the top of the hotel (not the nightclub) and my boyfriend being a football lover requested the game to be put on the telly. The bar staff said he can put whatever he wants on and helped us find the channel. Brilliant service they really made it special for us so a big thank you to them.

Location:

Location is excellent. You are directly on the Main Street of Zakopane. There are so many restaurants and bars around the hotel. You must go up the mountain on the cable car. The views are spectacular and so breathtaking. I got engaged up here so this is a place that will remain in my heart always.

We done a trip to the thermal hot springs which were amazing! So relaxing and beautiful. You come out feeling so refreshed and your skin feels amazing so also a must do!

Overall:

The overall holiday was so special and so much of this is down to the hotel. Thank you so much for the best stay and we will definitely be back! Hopefully in the summer and the winter!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel.
Check in was very good and complimentary Aries stuffed toys for the children in our group was a very nice touch. We had a spacious family suite, which was well appointed and comfortable. The pool/spa were also excellent. especially the outdoor hot tubs, which were a real treat. I also enjoyed a wonderful massage, which was reasonably priced.
The other highlight for us was The la scandal bar, which we used often during our stay. We enjoyed drinks (evening and during the day) and we also had a light meal one evening. Service and quality were always excellent and it had a nice relaxed family atmosphere.
The breakfast is good, with lots of choice. However for me the quality of some items was slightly lacking. Cooked items in particular were not always served very hot. Personally I would prefer fewer items of better quality and freshness. That said, we always found something nice and fresh to eat, especially the fruit and cakes. Being able to take decent coffee away with you was a nice touch.
The main negatives were fairly minor on balance, but Included poor quality towels in the rooms and lack of attention to detail in some areas of house keeping. On several occasions we found the bathrooms to have completely run out of toilet paper and hand soap. When my son used the bathroom near the kids play area, I had to go on a mission to another part of the hotel to find loo roll for him. Not ideal!!

I stayed here along with multiple members of my family for my sister's wedding in Zakopane in June 2019. We definitely chose the establishment with the highest standard offered in town. The Aries felt very upmarket and yet was very affordable. It was clean, organised, rustic and charming. We utilised most of the amenities from the daily buffet breakfast, swimming pool, spa and even nail salon and couldn't have been more impressed. The staff went above and beyond for us (even performing a dry cleaning service for our wedding dresses). And the ability to use the hotel shuttle bus made our stay that much more convenient. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and we really can’t praise it enough. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, and all of the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is so close to Krupówki yet so quiet you’d never know the main street is a minute walk away. The spa and pool are opulent and the perfect place to relax, sitting outside in a hot tub surrounded by snow really is magical. Breakfast that’s included is amazing! The choice is vast and everything is freshly cooked and extremely high quality. We really can’t wait to go back and we would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I've been in Aries on Jan 2020 for a business conference. What a hotel ans structure. What about the staff and rooms and don't forget the food. Everything has been designed to make the guests able to enjoy everything with always smiles in the staff's face. I'm sure to come back with family on vacations as I've just discovered a pearl in the middle of Polish Mountains.

My fiance proposed to me on a Tatra hike and I had the honor of staying at Aries to relax afterward. The location is fantastic and the staff allowed us to secure our luggage prior to our stay in order to hike hands-free. The rooms were comfortable and had a traditional flare. There were hot tubs outside and a really comfortably warm pool with sweet lighting. We were extremely impressed by the spa, free saunas, and hot rooms. Many different sauna rooms so you can have a room to yourself. Our favorite thing was the breakfast. It was the fanciest breakfast buffet and the people working there constantly had a smile on their face.

Attractive hotel with very pleasing decor set in Zakopane one of the ugliest most crowded places I have ever visited.
Restaurant food and service is poor and breakfast is an horrific event , you have to fight for a table usually not cleared from the previous guests. Then fight your way through hordes of children and their awful parents the noise and mess makes breakfast not worth the effort .
Coming from the U.K. I imagine we paid a premium the mainly Poles staying here must get it at a bargain price this not a 5 star hotel as you know it.
Packed full of 2 star guest!!

Dear Guest, thank you for sharing your perspective. I am happy to know that you have appreciated the decor of our Hotel. Noticeably Zakopane have not met your taste, however besides of the strict centre there is a whole other area, definitely worth discovering- maybe during your next visit you would a have a chance to get to know Zakopane's people and culture which we are proud of. Let me apologize for the inconveniences caused by a busy time during the breakfast. At last, I would like to let you know that we treat every single Guest as a VIP, no matter of their background. The accommodations were comfortable and cozy. I have never slept so peacefully in a hotel bed. The atmosphere was very relaxing and it was nice to have beautiful mountain views from our room. The front desk and concierge staff were eager to make our stay pleasant and see to our needs. The cleaning staff never felt intrusive. We enjoyed nice massages at the spa although the treatments we booked a month ago were unavailable for some reason the day we had them but it could have been a sick staff member or something. Great place to stay!
