We decided on a one night child free break to Zakopane whilst staying in Poland. On arrival the hotel receptionist was welcoming and happy to answer any questions we had. Our room was on the top floor with toilet facilities, shower and a large bed. The room was clean. It had ample plug sockets for charging up devices. As mentioned in previous reviews the breakfast offers a good range of fresh cooked and prepared food and cereals all of which was displayed nicely and easy to help yourself, The coffee was indeed very nice too. Parking could be better displayed as when we arrived no cars were there, we left the car and went out to come back to a note asking us to park more appropriately. We would be happy to return and stay again.
The chalet is a 20 minute walk from the city center, which is nice because it is really quiet at night. The town itself is very touristy and crowded, so this accommodation was a great finsld. In its surroundings there are quite a few restaurants, but the walk to the center is also pleasant. The rooms are large and clean and have a modern feel. The included breakfast is good with plenty of options, however, we did not try the restaurant for dinner. Around the building is a lot of parking space. The staff is very helpful and speaks English very well.
Good place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fresh and good. They didn´t clean our room during our 5 night stay but the Hotel is clean itself. Double bed is 2 single mattresses connected. Good connection to the mountains.
I would recommend this hotel to anybody. My room was on the ground floor and overlooked another hotel. Don't assume you will see mountains from the room allocated. Everything is very solid and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional. There was just one problem. A near neighbour had a dog, kept in a cage. It barked loudly and very frequently. Advice to its owner should have been given before now. That single fact accounts for my rating, which would have been nigher without the nuisance.
We have stayed there 3 days. Rooms were clean, modern style, cleaned everyday, beds comfortable. Great breakfast, other meals we ate in Zakopane city center. Big screen TV with digital television (Canal +) were present in the dining room. Wifi connection exist but it was useless even in the lobby. Overall outcome positive. ps. Use the private small buses to travel around Zakopane.
We spent 4 nights at the Hotel Orla Perc, very downtown location. Easy access to the montains lift for a super good view of the Tatras Montains Reception very friedly, polite. This is a great little street with loads of restuarants cafe's and shops but not very interesting.
We stayed for one week during August. The hotel is modern (a bit cold and empty-looking thought), clean, with big parking lot and nice surroundings. The food, both breakfast and dinner was very good, nicely and promptly served. The staff was very nice and helpfull (for example: no problem with serving dinner after the standard hours). On the downside: the rooms are not cleaned daily, the WiFi reception, especially on the second floor is close to non-existant (in fact I got a better 3G connectivity then the poor quality hotel WiFi), in theory there is also a wired internet connection, but it didn't work at all. You should also bear in mind that the city center is a good 35 minute walk away and the bus connections to city center and to Kuznice do not obey any strict time schedule. Last unpleasant glitch: we left a day earlier than the booked period but paid for the whole (one day longer) stay. The lady at the reception "didn't notice", and my subsequent attempts to get at least a partial refund failed, a real FAIL on their side for an overally a nice stay.…
We stayed for two nights during January. This is a clean, modern, spacious hotel on the outskirts of Zakopane. On the plus side, our room was spotless and large, the breakfast buffet was pretty substantial, and the area surrounding the hotel is picturesque. There are two nice delis within yards of the hotel and a couple of decent looking bars. On the downside, the staff were pretty indifferent, the room was not cleaned, and there are no coffee-making facilities, or extra blankets/pillows in the room. The restaurant and bar were not open during our stay. The real downside to this hotel is that the city centre is a good 35 minute walk away.
Couple with a toddler We stayed at this hotel for 5 days. Our room was at the top floor and despite the fact that there was no lift we didn't regret it at all. The room was big with enormous windows and a full undisturbed view of the Tatra mountains. We loved the food, ate there every night and every time it was a great pleasure (even with a 2 year old boy:)). Another important point was the extremely helpful staff. We can recommend the place as it was very reasonably priced, not far from the centre and deserved much more then only 3 stars.
We stayed in Orla Perc in a perfect (family)room: we had a bedroom with a 2-person bed and a livingroom with two bed-couches (each suitable for 1 kid) and we had two bathrooms! Buffet-breakfast was lovely. The restaurant was good. The hotel and the room were spacious and trendy, just like the photos on the website of the hotel. We could easily walk to Nosal. Good location of the hotel, no smog.
