We arrived just in time for new years eve. The hotel is in an excellent location to see a panoramic view of the Tatra mountains, if the weather cooperates. The views are great from all the rooms since the hotel is on top of a hill, but it is best to get a room from the south since you will see the main mountain range. It takes 20-30min to get to the hotel from Zakopane, there are no attractions or restaurants nearby, you will need a car to get everywhere. They have a great kitchen with excellent food, a pool and a kids area for the little ones to play. There is a church (Parish of Our Lady of Czestochowa) within walking distance(200m from the hotel) that is worth visiting. If you are into skiing there are several beginner/intermediate ski hills not too far away, Czerwienne Ski (2km), Suche Ski (7km), Witow Ski (18km). There are thermal pools not too far away also, Termy Chocolowski (15km) and Termy Szaflary (13km). If you want to hike you can go to Dolina Chcholowska(20km) or Morksie Oko(30km). See my other reviews on activities in the area. The hotel also organizes sleigh rides in the winter. We attended the new years eve celebration which was very fun. The hall was nicely decorated and the table settings were beautiful also, but the entire hall felt cramped, there were too many tables for the hall. The chief, as well as the kitchen staff, do an awesome job with the food. We must have ate two days worth of food in that one evening. First, there was an appetizer, then there was soup, then the main course, followed by dessert. If dinner did not fill you up there were plenty of cold snacks to munch on as well as a sweet table with artistic desserts. Throughout the night the band Ahaju Fusion Boliwia was providing tunes, which was on Poland has Talent. After dinner there was also some entertainment that was provided, mostly drinking games. 4 people had to drink shots off of a ski. Then there were guys that had to pound a nail into a log, with a hammer made of square steel tubing, quite difficult if you're drunk. Closer to midnight there was a photobooth in the hallway. At midnight there was champagne and a small firework show, but it was nice to stand on the balcony watching the fireworks all around the area, since you're on a hill you have a birds-eye view. After midnight there was more food, roasted pig, pierogies, sauerkraut to name a few. We were a little disappointed in the drinks, every couple got a 500ml of Absolute vodka, it was nice for people that drink vodka, I personally would have liked wine or whisky. Kids had their own activities in a separate area of the hotel. Overall it was a good celebration to ring in the new year. There is a lot of open fields and forests around the hotel, keep in mind that most is private property, the residents don't appreciate people trespassing, skiing/snowboarding, kids building snowmen in the middle of the property or dogs doing their business, and owners not picking it up. If you wouldn't want anyone to do any of the above on your property then don't do it to theirs. Our stay was good, we wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Will need to visit in the summer. Feel free to read some of my other reviews on activities in the area. If you have any questions feel free to ask. If you found this helpful feel free to hit the Thank button below. Happy Travels.

Coming from sea-level, this hotel, spa, and conference center in the Tarty Mountains was a true change of pace. The elevation is not so high as to make anyone uncomfortable -- and the scenery was majestic. The only "attraction" in the area is the Church dedicated to Our Lady of Jasna Gora, which is also a shrine to Stefan Cardinal Wysinski and to Pope John Paul. The hotel is situated on top of a hill, affording fantastic views in all directions. The rooms were neat & clean, the food was good, and the hotel provided some good amenities, including a terrific swimming pool.

This is a wonderful destination location if you want seclusion and relative isolation. The hotel rooms are very nice, and breakfast is good, and there is a nice pool. If you want anything from a shop, be prepared to walk down a steep hill to the small town below, and conserve enough energy to climb back up. Traveling here with a car provides many more option for visiting local sites, including Zakopane. The views are quite beautiful, and well worth the visit.

Our visit in Bachledowka hotel *** was nice. Rooms are fairly clean, but quite small if you are in double standart and in need of a baby cot. Towels are in bad shape, would be nice if they invest and buy some new fluffy ones. Also towels haven't been changed during our 3 nights stay at all, even when we put them on the floor before the cleaning maid came in. They just put them back on the heating rail. Also, if you are using pool, don't leave towels (you have to take your own from room) in the basket for wet towels in changing room by pool, as there is a big deal to get a new fresh dry towels. Food was nice, quite a few things to choose from for dinner, breakfast the same choice every morning. Our daughter enjoyed the playroom for kids with lego and toys and pool with balls. Quite disappointed with cleanliness in public toilets (see pics), no one cleaned them as long as we stayed. Also, very few staff members can actually talk in english, so i presume more local people stays in this hotel. Lovely views when it's nice and sunny. Location close to Zakopane (20-25 min by car) and Chocholowskie termy aquapark (20 min by car). Overall nice stay.

We had our wedding at Hotel Bachledówka on September 16, 2017, and were blown away by the overall experience. The staff was outstanding, the food delicious, and the venue itself impressive in every possible way. The hotel manager, Wioleta Bulas, is simply amazing at what she does and we couldn’t praise her enough. She is very professional, dependable, resourceful, and most importantly hard working. She also provided us with great vendor recommendations which made things easier on my wife who was doing most of the wedding planning from California. The hotel staff was top-notch and things couldn't have gone so well without a great team of individuals who went above and beyond to make our wedding run smoothly and without any problems. The staff was very professional and we are grateful for all of their hard work. The food was delicious! Chef Guzy and his team did an outstanding job. Serving 240 people, almost simultaneously, is not an easy task for any venue but they made sure that everything went great and that every single meal served was exceptional. Thank you! We couldn't have imagined a more picturesque location for our wedding and the response we received from our guests was beyond positive. Spacious rooms with stunning views of the Tatry Mountains, an indoor pool, jacuzzi and spa that we, along with our guests, took full advantage of on the second day of the wedding. There was also a room with a pool table, foosball table, and even a hair salon for the ladies. We were simply blown away! There is also a beautiful church within walking distance of the venue. We had our ceremony there and afterward took a traditional góralski horse and carriage to the wedding reception. So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much to everyone at Hotel Bachledówka for making our wedding such an unforgettable event. We are forever grateful! Mariusz & Patrycja M.

I stayed here in July with a dance group prior to our performance. The food was good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My friend and I saw a clear panorama of the mountains every mountains. The only part of my stay I didn't like was that the swimming pool was very heavily chlorinated almost to the point where staying on deck was unbearable for more than a few seconds. When I come back I will definitely consider staying here again

A week in the Zakopane mountains was just what I needed and everything was great. The Hotel staff (Especially Joanna) was absolutely great. The cleaning staff in this hotel however is a problem. Not only do they smoke illegally inside and did I have to keep on asking them not to, they removed my swimming costume from an area where I kept it, and when they thought it belonged to one of the guests who had left one of them blatantly stole it. They did have the grace to look suitable guilty!! This is a three star hotel and I have to say it is top top quality but they have to replace their cleaning staff. I was at this hotel a month earlier and also had a bit of a wobble but I did not give them a bad review. I would like to be reimbursed for a very expensive swimming costume. (Suppose that is the reason why they took it) At the time of my complaint the matter was also badly handled by the reception staff and she was downright rude. The manager I encountered this morning however was professional and very apologetic. My glass of wine and three coffees was on the house and I appreciate that. GUYS!! YOU HAVE ONE OF THE NICEST LOCATIONS IN POLAND AND A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL WITH A LASS LIKE JOANNA WORKING FOR YOU.... WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? FIRE YOUR CLEANING STAFF.

Mid-range hotel located just north of the Polish/Slovakian border. Clean, friendly English speaking staff, very nice swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Massage sessions are availaable. The on site restaurant is clean and offers an excellent breakfast buffet and delicious meals during the rest of the day. Setting is rural and quiet with cows, horses and sheep in plain view. It is actually quite picturesque. I came here during a week long conference and had an enjoyable time - the conference was perfect and well accommodating for our group of approximately 50. We even had plenty o room to spare. The beds were not the most comfortable, but I would DEFINITELY stay here again given the opportunity.

We've organized our wedding in Hotel Bachledowka and it was the best place we could imagine for this ceremony. The surroundings are exceptionally beautiful. The place is quite solitary, so we had peace and privacy. And the church and the chapel are breathtaking. We only regret not staying longer at the hotel as everything happened so fast we could enjoy some of the attraction they have to offer. Both before and during the wedding, the hotel staff was very professional. They helped us arrange many extra services, they always had some advice for us and the communication was flawless. The manager - Mrs Wiola is a very trustworthy person and we owe her a lot. She made this whole event much less stressful taking care of everything that was in her power. Our guests were delighted with the food, the service, the rooms and especially with pool and sauna. Most of them said they would return to Hotel Bachledowka. And we will too! The only thing was the heating in the rooms on the ground floor. It was too hot there and apparently there was no way to lower the temperature. But apart from that we don't have any complaint.
