We stayed only one night here but it was a really nice place. We arrived way too early but our host was really kind and gave us a room which was ready. She gave us recommendations for exchange and how to get to the top of the mountain. We ordered breakfast as well which came to our room at the agreed time and was beautiful too. The house was really warm and the bathroom is modern. Only downsides were the poor wifi and that our neighbour was a family with small child who woke up quite early. Otherwise all good. :)
Super patronsand easy going, lovely wooden lodge in the Highlander styl, great prices for such a clean and lovely 6 room inn. Quiet..away from Kupruwky street yet close to everything you need to be in Zakopane. Large rooms all wooden interior, very warm and welcoming. I would rent these rooms any day i go bak to Zakopane. Thanks for the hospitality.
First of all the localisation is great. It is literally 10 minutes walk from Krupowki Street so you are almost in the centre, yet that particular part of the town is so quiet that you will enjoy being far from all the street noise. The hotel itself was built in a traditional Zakopane style, so it has a fantastic feel. The rooms are spacey, the bathrooms are set with taste. The price is very good for what the venue offers.
This place was a really good choice for us. Good location, clean and very warm (a bit too much at times). The breakfast was exceptional for £3.00 each and if you tell the owners they more than accomodate your likes etc.
We got to this place after our previous reservation was canceled and we were offered this in exchange. I was very happy for this mistake! If you ever get here please ask for the top floor room. The morning view is breathtaking! You also have access to a full equiped kitchen and the center is really close.
Nice small house. Great wooden room, awesome view on Tatry. Tea, cofee and fridge are on the floor. Small ski lifts in 5 minutes, city center in 15 minutes walk. English-speaking owner, but it's a luck if you find her at villa to ask something about service or even to pay money for the room :)
Willa Schodnica is a recently renovated traditional villa situated towards the edge of Zakopane. If arriving in town by public transport with heavy luggage it would probably be worth getting a taxi? (c.18 zloty) but the town centre is still in reasonable walking distance. We arrived quite late and the owners had kindly left with written instructions on accessing our accomodation. However, their lovely black labrador duly showed us to our room! We didn't see much of the owners during our stay, but when we finally did meet them they spoke excellent English and were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was large with traditional pine cladding and en-suite bathroom fitted to a high standard. The bed was comfortable but would perhaps have benefitted from a few finishing touches like a headboard, bedside tables and a lamp but this wasn't a massive problem. Although we arrived in darkness, we were greeted to an amazing clear view of the Tatras from the balcony early the following morning, and we enjoyed sitting out there during our stay. The accomodation is relatively quiet and although the town bypass road is located nearby, this isn't overly busy and we did not find traffic noise an issue. There were kitchen facilities in the guesthouse, but it wasn't clear whether they were for everyone's use or attached to particular suites? This place offers excellent value accomodation for either summer or winter visitors and lies in walking distance of the ski runs around Butorowy Wierch.…
