Detailed Reviews
My wife booked a single night stay whilst we enjoying a seven night break in Krakow. This truly lovely boutique hotel is in the heart of the Kazimierz Jewish quarter opposite the areas oldest synagogue. On our arrival, we were immediately upgraded to a bigger room which was nice. The room was large and spacious with a very comfortable double bed. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, and the whole hotel has a lovely friendly atmosphere. It has Sky roof bar which offers fabulous views of Krakow. We chose to eat in the hotel restaurant to clebrate our wedding anniversary and enjoyed a lovely three course "taster" menu for the amazing cost of 49 zlotys (9.86) each!! The staff were so helpful and friendly, and we had a great stay. Very recommended!!

We stay in the hotel every time when in Krakow, because of it's wonderful location, friendly staff and nice rooms. The service was very nice, they were very careful during Corona times and watched out to keep all the Covid restrictions. Breakfasts are amazing, roof bar has a great view. We love the location- Kazimierz has its' magical atmosphere, it is very close to the city center but still pretty calm with lovely live music playing every evening in front of the restaurants. Definitely worth staying there for a couple of days.

The Rubinstein hotel is located in the Jewish quarter. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed on a bed and breakfast rate which was continental style but cooked breakfast items could be requested at no extra cost. Easy walking distance to the main square. The sky bar on the fifth floor is great to have a drink and great views over the city of Krakow. Would definitely return to the Rubinstein hotel, definitely recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights and the hotel was quiet. Check in was very quick and no introduction to the hotel was given. This meant we were not aware that our room was not going to be cleaned everyday. The room had not been thoroughly vacuumed before our arrival we could clearly see. Anyway, the room was made up the first day but not the second. When we questioned hotel staff they said we needed to hang a notice on our door handle. This was disappointing as the hotel should have told us this. To be fair, the hotel manager agreed to give us a discount by covering our transfer taxi fare back to the airport. You guessed it - the poor taxi driver had not been informed by the hotel. So we had to wait to speak to a member of staff on the phone outside the airport. The member of staff then disputed their own promise of covering the cost of the taxi! A shame as the hotel is nice and the breakfast and breakfast staff are lovely. However, for a trip we had been looking forward to for so long was overshadowed by unnecessary letdown.

On a whole I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, a lot of things they advertise to have they don’t, from the outside the hotel is beautiful and in a lovely part of Krakow. We stayed here for a week and didn’t have one decent nights sleep, the room we had doesn’t have windows to outside just ones onto a corridor so there’s no natural light or air, the room feels quite claustrophobic and the air conditioning isn’t much use either. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and pillows where flat. Service up on the sky bar is very slow and the drinks aren’t great either, food menu doesn’t have much choice can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t fancy having it. We came last year to Poland and stayed in an apartment which was cheaper and had more facilities, so if I visited Poland again I would definitely book that over a hotel.

My wife and I stayed in the Delux Suite on the 5th floor for a wedding. This was a charming hotel with a lot of character and history, that works really well as a boutique hotel.
Check in was smooth and fast, with us being in our room within 5 minutes of us arriving. The room was right opposite the sky bar and next to the lift. In the entrance hall of the room, there was a wardrobe and coat hanging area and one of the first bathrooms. This led to the open living space that was very nicely laid out and comfortable for a few people to relax.
However, the biggest drawback of this room was that being in the roof the windows were skylight. During the day, this is fantastic with great views out over the city and adding to the character of the room. As we stayed in the mid summer as soon as the sun rose the room was flooded with light and my wife and I found ourselves wide awake at 5:30am every morning. While this won’t be a problem during the other seasons, I would recommend that the hotel invest in some more suitable curtains that could cover the windows better and provide a better nights sleep.
The shower room was separate to the other bathroom, which had a bath and separate toilet. While this was great for a couple, it was a slight challenge as neigh bathroom has adequate space to hang more than one towel.
Overall, the room was reflecting the hotels character and was very cost. However, I do think it would be better that do a bit of renovation in the Delux suite on the 5th floor as it could be a bit more special. I would recommend staying on the lower floors if you can or in the suite on the second floor.
The hotel’s location is ideally placed to explore the city. Close to the river and only a 10 min walk to the old town square, it’s easy to explore Krakow on foot. The vicinity in three Jewish quarter provides an abundance of food and drink options.
Overall, I would rate the hotel and location as 4.5 / 5 but our room does bring down the score a little.

Thank you for choosing to stay at our hotel! We are delighted to hear that your stay was mostly enjoyable. However, we are sorry to learn about the lack of blackout curtains in your room. Your valuable feedback motivates us to take action, and we will certainly do our best to correct this oversight. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.

I am afraid our experience was very much let down by the lack of hot water for 2 out of the 3 days. We reported it several times. It wasn't until the third night that we could have a shower or a hot shave. I recognise that these things happen sometimes but the communication with guests was non-existant.
Location was good and the rooms comfortable (apart from no hot water). Breakfast was not included and no where could we find out how much it cost so we had breakfast elsewhere.
Its a shame that it wasn't handled as well as it could have been.

I spent four nights at the Rubinstein and it was very nice. The location in Kazimierz is just great. Everything is friendly and pleasant. If you get a room at the back and want to sleep with the window open, you should take earplugs with you because the tram passes behind the hotel. This is disturbing late at night and early in the morning. However, I would book and recommend the hotel again at any time, as the ambience and staff are pleasant.

I loved Krakow, the hotel was great and my room was perfect. But the thing that made my trip so special was the care and attention given to me by the reception staff.
I am not usually a solo-traveller and was a bit unsure whether I would really enjoy myself. However, the receptionists organised me tours and booked me into the most lovely restaurant, and generally pointed me in the right direction. I felt truly taken care of.
Thank you Hotel Rubinstein.

An excellent hotel very well priced the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
The prices in this area are a little higher than the Old Town but an Uber there is only a few pounds.
Robert the bar manager is very knowlageble about the area and very aimiable.
I would highly recommend this hotel and thank the staff for a very pleasant stay we will return.

Yes, very new and smart
Secret is that our wonderful food is prepared with am incredible passion. We have here a wonderful chief that we love and cherish so much. You should try his delicacies also after hours - great dinners and an exceptional tasting menu!
The breakfast is included in SOME of bookings, usually by your preference while booking the room. Please check your policies on your reservation form.

All the answers below couldn't be more right!
It's 20 minutes from the airport when taking a taxi. Prebooked once are better as they offer fixed price and English speaking drivers. Also you are not loosing any time for waiting. Very comfortable and inexpensive!
Hairdryers are in each and every room. We supply the rooms with the toiletries too so no need to carry shampoo. For every request we can deliver to your room an iron and iron board.
Hello!
The hotel is located in the Jewish Quarter called Kazimierz.
A trip by taxi takes 20 minutes - we recommend booking a taxi prior to your arrival and get your driver waiting by the arrival gates.
In case you decide for public transport, the commute will take you about one hour - twenty minutes by train and then half hour walk from the train station. There are two trains per each hour.
We do not offer shuttle, however you can book with us a taxi that goes from and to the airport. In case you wish one waiting for you, please send us an email with your flight data: flight number, city of departure and hour of arrival. The driver will be right by the arrival gates waiting for you. It's super convenient and totally hassle free!
