We were given some gift vouchers for Ryanair at Christmas 2008 so we booked a flight to Krakow for June 2009, so it only cost us about £60 for the flights, which wasn't too bad. Again this was another lastminute.com 'secret hotel' and we paid about £140 for three nights. The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from the... More

We stayed at the Ostoya Palace for five nights at the end of October and were delighted with the hotel. It was everything we could want - or need - for a city break hotel. Its location, about a seven minute walk from the main square, is ideal. Although it is on the corner of two relatively busy roads the... More

We stayed in the Ostoya Palace in June 2010. Its not the biggest hotel in the world and it has an old world charm, but biggest isnt always the best. From the moment we checked in everything went like clockwork, The hotel is scrupulously clean and run with razor sharp efficiency and to top it all the price is super... More

I've been in this hotel with my wife and two teenage children. Upon arrival we were staying in your spacious room. Through the entirety of our stay he was kept clean. Standard breakfast, especially a command-scrambled eggs are really delicious. There is no problem to come to terms with the very helpful hotel staff. I wish you hit more often... More

Hotel staff was courteous and helpful. Room was clean with large ceilings, clean towels and bath robes. Breakfast was standard although I wish they would add more wholewheat bread because when it ran out there was no more. Tv quality was weak but who comes to hotel to watch TV.

This is a good hotel for a short visit to Krakow in terms of location, price and cleanliness. It has a nice Polish feel to the place and makes a change to the identikit bedroom factories of the larger chains. My tip when when booking would be to try and and get a room on the first floor, which benefits... More

I have just returned from 6 days in Krakow. I have booked this hotel due to really good location and the pictures on the website looked good too. Unfortunately, the whole hotel is done up to a really cheap standard, the rooms are really small too (both my parents, and we reserved a 'superior' double rooms, which were an usual... More

We were really disappointed with this hotel. The room we had was dark with only two small skylights letting in a minimal amount of daylight. The ceiling was so low we had to bend in half to get into bed and the bathroom had the smallest shower I have ever been in. We did ask for a room with a... More

My friend and I stayed at the Ostoya Palace hotel for four nights. The first thing that hit us (after lugging our cases up a steep flight of stairs) was the over powering smell of cigarette smoke. Guests are allowed to smoke everywhere including the hallways. I am an occasional smoker but when we went down to the basement where... More
