So disappointed in this hotel. It reeks of smoke, though the room I stayed in is supposed to be smoke free. The floor was appalling. People clearly have smoked in this room and the floor was black under the bed! The shower head was pulled off the shower with no way to hang it back up. Would not recommend at all.
Recommended Hotel: The Villa Eden and Spa is a clean hotel with above-average rooms - mine was on the top floor so the ceiling sloped down a bit but that did not bother me. The area was quiet. The Internet was free-and-fast (I always mention this because I still encounter hotels which make guest pay for this). I did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The hotel is ideal for a short stay but if you're looking for a place with more luxuries you'd probably do better at the Velvet Hotel a bit further from the city center.
It`s quite handy place for sleeping, when travelling. We got pretty good rooms at the top floor, with dormer windows in a sloping roof, with comfy bed and enough spacious bathroom. On the wall the tv-set with flat screen. Also the fi-wi worked properly. The staff was kind but not very communicative. The breakfast was offered in the huge room, suitable for the big parties or events and was really hearty. The bed impression comes from the arrangements and décor of the public space, like lobby, corridors, staircase. Simple, they look more like boarding school`s interior, but not like a hotel. Anyway, I can recommend this hotel for short stay, especially that the fee is reasonable.
This hotel is definitely better than other old hotels in this town. This is quite a new hotel, so I was very happy with my room which was quite spacious, toilet was nice (but was blocked anyhow), I had a balcony so I was also pleased with that! The staff is ok, but could be more pleasant and welcoming. Cannot comment on food as I didn't have time and chance to try anything. One thing which was important for me - there is no tea & coffee facilities in the room. Overall, I would stay there again if I visit Suwalki taking under consideration the price and the fact that there are not many hotels to choose from anyway.
