It's the second time that we come to this hotel and it's always a good stay. Very friendly staff, very nice and clean room, very comfortable beds. Nice, at the first floor, a big open space with chairs and tables where one can smoke. Very good buffet for breakfast. Free wifi perfectly working and free big parking.
We reserved room for family of 4 in internet. We got room 212: + very kind personal + we got 3 beds, personal gave us 4th baby bed. Thank you! + breakfast was delicious with wide menu. Thank you! - room had no ventilation (except door shell under entrance door, where noise from elevator and from people in coridor was coming). - no air conditioning - when you open window you get loud road traffic noise with horns and ambulance sounds, traffic all night long. - with closed window and 4 persons you feel that you breaze air without oxygen - probably not so thick walls, because I heard somebody sneezing many times. - shower had pressure only for cold water, hot water had very low pressure, not sure if the tap was broken or just low pressure in hot water tube.
Don't stay at this hotel. I've stayed at this hotel four times in different years. Every year the hotel has become worse. The last time, however, put a point on this hotel. 30.06.19 at 22:00 I came from Czech Republic for a long ride and wanted to stay at this hotel. I booked a room that was not refundable on the internet. There was no space for a car in the car park. Finally, I found a free place on the meadow 400 meters away from the hotel. There was a big wedding party in the hotel. In the hotel recipe I had to shout that the employee would hear me. The noise was so loud. I wanted the quietest room possible. I was offered a room next to the party room. When I asked how I slept there, I was told to take or leave. Of course, I didn't want to stay overnight at the hotel and canceled my booking. I stayed at the Logos hotel, which was a nice little and peaceful hotel with very good service. The next day, however, it turned out that the hotel Szyszko had taken money from the credit card for the room. For the room they had agreed to cancel their booking and where I did not stay. Don't use this hotel because it is more a nightclub than a hotel.…
As it seems to be usual in Poland, we arrived on a Saturday and there was a wedding again. This time we had be forwarned, but again, our rooms were situated in such a way, that we were not disturbed by the festivity at all. The restaurant served wonderful food at reasonable prices. The only thing to criticize is, that there are no international tv-channels availabe.
Of all the reviews I have written this is my first rating of a hotel as terrible. It's not because of the hotel itself. My room was basic but clean, my bed was comfortable, there was a courtesy bottle of water. One person at the front desk does his best to help the guests. His name is Oliver. The rest of the staff could not care less. As for the front desk manager, I cannot imagine how this person was ever put in charge of dealing with guests. No understanding, no empathy, not even basic courtesy. I was traveling for business and was careful to check the relevant box on the booking website I regularly use. I also made sure to fill out the remark box asking for a quiet room as I was going to work late into the evening. An hour after my arrival, I was awoken from my nap by blaring car horns. The hotel was hosting a wedding. This meant a night until dawn of loud singing and carousing and drunk people yelling and shouting. My room was on the first floor, right over the din. I asked to change but was denied the larger room available on a top floor by the front desk employee who barely acknowledged me. The manager refused to see me, refused to speak to me on the telephone. She sent someone with the message that I knew there was a wedding and if I didn't like it I could just have stayed somewhere else. I manage to corner her in the morning for a very reluctant chat on her part. How was I to know there was a wedding? It's on the hotel website. I didn't check out the hotel website which is in Polish which I do not speak. Could the hotel not have sent me an email to warn me? Well, maybe. But they did not and my stay was hellish with no sleep and a splitting headache from the noise. I asked whether she could offer me some compensation, such as a free entry to the spa. This was denied. By the way, be warned: they host a wedding every weekend, and a couple of tablets for the headache they cause will cost you 3 zlotys. Never again.…
