Terrible restaurant - a meal that may never arrive…

Out of 2 couples placing the order at the same time, one got their meal after half an hour and the food was fine. The other couple was not so lucky. After one hour when half of the group started digesting their food with the next round of beers, the other hungry half asked the waitress what about the duck and dumplings and heard that they are still not ready and the kitchen needs more time. We have not been informed that we would need to wait 90 minutes for the food. The waitress said sorry when we were cancelling the order but had no compensation offer for her mistake. The restaurant was not crowded at the time of our arrival but then a 12 people group came and our guess is that the kitchen focused on their table forgetting the others. So if you don’t want to leave hungry and dissapointed, better make sure how long you will have to wait for your food. Also if you are allergic to wasps, avoid this place, they will accompany you at the table in large numbers.…

Dramatic restaurant

We wanted to order drinks, waitress was very rude. We told her that we would want drinks made by her not the bootled one, she started to rolling her eyes told us that we would need to wait an hour. After we told her that we have time, she gave us an impression that she doesn't want to prepare those drinks.... finally we decided to go out. I do not recommend visit in hotel's restaurant

Good Vacay in Podlaskie Region

Hotel nad Wigrami is a three star Hotel front-lake in Suwalki. We stayed 2 nights in this Hotel. It's just outside of Suwalki and you have a beautiful room view of lake Wigry. You can go for a walk in the forest, lake, swim in the lake, rent a kayak or a paddle boat all free of charge, play tennis, basketball, bowling or billar, and have a breakfast outdoors in the big veranda. It's perfectly located between Suwalki and Augustòw so you can easily visit all the 40+ lakes within the area. The room looks pretty standard and a bit outdated to me but it is spacious, has a good shower but the beds are separate and not very comfy. Also there is no fridge, no aircon, no kettle in the room but it was very clean. There is a balcony with a great view to the lake but there are no seats or table outside. There is a green area around the Hotel with few games for kids, and an outdoor gym. People at the reception speak English and they are helpful. Breakfast is from 7.30 to 10.30 but we did not enjoy it. The buffet breakfast should be improved. The buffet coffee was not good but you can order cappuccino and pay a little extra. The dinner surprised me. The waiter was very professional, and despite he spoke a bit of English I appreciate that he made the effort. Well done! We took one cold beetroot soup, a mushroom soup and they were delicious. All in all it was a good stay. …

Very nice hotel!

Clean, new, good location, nice lake, breakfast very good on Lithuanian taste. Food in the restaurant excellent especially Dorada. Can be rented boat or kayak. Close to the hotel, you can buy smoked fish. All is OK!

good place for nature lovers

the location was really great, just few meters from the lake with own pier giving chance to swim and use kayak. There were plenty of the birds in the forest waking me up every morning in good mood. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and quite spacious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The bed lamps were not enough bright to read a book in the bed. A chair on the balcony would be a nice option.
