Nice and clean rooms and excellent parking (garage below the hotel). Breakfast was also good. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in the center of Suwalki with good and easy access to Via Baltica -road. I will definitely stay here again.

We had dinner in the hotel and both the athmosphere and the food was very good. The location make it an easy choice when walking the streets of Suwalki. We have been ther befor in the bar - this was also very nice!

The hotel is well located in the center of Suwalki close to shopping mall. It is new and well designed. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Good value for money. There is a relaxing atmosphere. Very pleasant restaurant with well served meals. The selection of food could be better. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Thank you, Velvet Hotel. It was going to be a 1,342-kilometre trek by car from Kraków, Poland to Tallin, Estonia. A younger group may have made the journey in one fell swoop. Not so for older retirees. We all agreed to break up the journey with an overnight stay before crossing the Lithuanian border. The Velvet Hotel in Suwałki was a sweet surprise. It was clean, modern and far and away not your average roadside motel on a car trip. This inn has class and charm and good will in spades. It was an oasis. Suwałki is a commercial town and business centre set close to the crossroads of Poland and Lithuania. The Velvet greeted us with 4-star customer service and bright, clean, spacious, contemporary rooms promising rest and comfort. There were unusually high ceilings and large skylight-type windows covered by sheer curtains that let in just enough vitalizing light for a weary traveller to recover from their all-day sojourn in a car. The restaurant at the hotel was called the Nova and it was a foodie's delight. High-end, beautifully presented, delicious food was certainly not what we expected at a short overnight stay in a town that just supposed to be a convenient location. Breakfast continued the winning streak with a generous buffet offering of delicious food served with class and optimistic good will. The staff was of superior calibre. We all agreed before we left the Velvet to book a room for the return and we did. And we were not disappointed the second time.…

We stayed at the Velvet Hotel for one night. The hotel is clean and Friendly. Comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast. We came late and they were very accommodating. WiFi worked after a few tries and parking was under the hotel. Very convenient. The hotel has a nice new feel and I would recommend it highly.

We visited this place one year ago. We were very pleased then. The same this time. Very good restaurant with excelent food to a reasonable price. Excelent breakfast today. Parking in the celear. And the room was excelent. Room 301. Everything could be recomended. And the restaurant is highly recomended. High quality personal.

Highly recommended. This clean and friendly hotel is well situated in town but not in a very busy area. They offered a generous breakfast, provided well equipped rooms, and speedy internet connections at no extra cost. After I checked out they let me use a table in the restaurant to do some work. Definitely four if not five stars.

This hotel is located very much in City Centre, and has nice spa-facilities. Overall, the hotel feels new, modern, and comfortable. Staff speaks good english and is very helpful. After a day of mostly rain on a motorcycle, I was very happy to get into this very nice hotel. It was delicious to hear the rain outside while I was in the Jacuzzi and later comfortably in my bed. Parking can be on hotel-parking or even underground (I think there is a fee) The wifi is free, but is an old system with username/password per device (I carry multiple devices...), and it is a bit sloooow. Recepetion knows: Everyone complains, they will upgrade sometime in future.

We did not book and turned up on spec. We where seated straight away. Been a few times before so knew what to expect. There was 50% so I decided to have mushroom in sauce. They where so nice and I should have ask for the recipe. We order the main meal mine came but I think my friends was either delayed or had been forgotten. The waitress realised what had happen and without even asking said she would take it off the bill. Many places you would have to complain for that to happen. We where not in any rush. The portions where big, now it is very rare for me not to finish my meals and at 50% it was so cheap are drinks (diet coke) where more expensive than the food lol. Even better as my friend paid for it as a birthday treat. I could not give it a 5 rating due to the delayed food and there seems to be an issue with a small fly which it is not the only occasion I have noticed it. The staff where excellent and I would go again.…
