We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and on the whole enjoyed it. The hotel is modern, very clean and comfortable, and is central to the old town and in walking distance of many of Gdansk's landmarks and museums, and bars/ restaurants and the river. However, please be aware that if you stay at the weekend and there is...

This is a nice hotel, very Euro, right off the old town part of Gdansk. The room was nice, great bed, very trendy and hip. The shower doesn't have a lip so the water ran into the rest of the bathroom. Square toilet, had a fridge with mini-bar, the standard Nescafe instant coffee. Towels were really soft. All in all...

The Hotel is ideally located just around the corner of the old city of Gdansk. Nice building, tidy rooms and a great service team. It was a real pleasure to stay in the Grand Cru. Breakfast offering is very good and the bar is well equipped.

Our 4 day stay was great. Loved the Grand Cru Hotel. Arrived by taxi from the airport. We had pre booked the taxi through the hotel- 60 zloty which you pay directly to the driver. He was waiting at arrivals and less than half an hour later we were checking into the Grand Cru Hotel. Check in was fast and...

Slightly off the beaten track but close to the river and the WW2 museum. Good sized clean rooms. Modern feel and good facilities. Gym and sauna not brilliant, so didn't use. Good shower, comfy beds, polite, friendly and helpful. Would stay again! Thanks.

Such a lovely hotel, faultless. The price was unreal (everything in poland is actually!) Such a modern, clean, high end hotel and a great price. Our room was spacious, beds super comfy. Bathroom lovely and the shower was amazing. Lovely to have our own robes and the minibar was great. Breakfast included was a bonus, lots to choose from -...

Third stay at this hotel and never disappoints. Friendly staff and checked in promptly. Emailed us prior to arrival to confirm request for cot bed. Located in a quiet area near to the river. Just few mins walk to shops and restaurants and approx 15 min walk to train station. Rooms fairly good size and very clean. Would stay again...

Tucked away down a cobbled side street away from the waterside you will find this newly renovated industrial building, first impression was rustic with the bare brick walls and steel girders. The rooms were very comfortable with fantastic air con and bathroom facilities. Cleaned every day with complimentary water and coffee etc. The restaurant was very upmarket serving unreal food...

We just had a 3 night stay at the hotel. It's location was fine - easy walk to the old town along the waterfront, with lots of restaurants and bars en route. It's steps away from Degustarnia, one of the best craft ale pubs in the city (it looks like it's part of High 5 Hostel, but it's not). The...

So I checked into the Hotel Grand Cru for 4 nights and this hotel didn't live up to its expectations of what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. The bed was rock hard and I slept really badly, it's been the same every night. There is a street lamp that shines outside my room and the thin blind...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The location of Grand Cru Hotel, in the antique Old Town, on Rycerska Street, allows to live to the full the unique atmosphere of Gdansk. Only a few steps divide our hotel from Motlawa river and finest monuments of the city, such as St. Mary's Church, the Crane, Neptune’s Fountain, Artus Court or Uphagen House. An evening walk along the Long Bridge and the alleys over which rise the fascinating pearls of architecture, ended with a dinner and a glass of excellent wine in Grand Cru Restaurant, will be a great accomplishment of each day spent in the Tri-city. ... more   less
