I stayed here for a few nights while I was working in Brno and I found it clean and comfortable although not luxurious. I liked that there was a little kitchen where I could make tea or soup whenever I wanted it, and the friendly staff brought my (very tasty and substantial) breakfast to my room at a time decided... I can only agree with the other descriptions of Penzion Na Starém Brně on Tripadvisor. The hotel is not fancy, but nice and clean and the employees very friendly. There is free parking and also free wifi. Breakfast is not included in the room price, but I would advise taking advantage of the offer anyway. My husband and I did... More

As there are not so many cosy B&Bs in the centre of Brno, I was happy to find this one, with quite a reasonable price of 1340 CZK per room for two, including a decent breakfast brought to our room, wifi and free parking in front of the house. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the... More

This is such a great place - hidden away yet near to the city centre. We went to Brno to visit Villa Tugendhat and realising we were staying in Gregor Mendel's monastery was the icing on the cake! The staff were very helpful, the suite was spacious, very comfortable and very clean, good bathroom, and breakfast delivered to our room... More

This is a little gem. Tucked away in a quiet spot but within easy walking distance of the city and the castle. Excellent service, and a delicious breakfast served in your room. To find ourselves in a building once part of Gregor Mendel's monastery was an extra treat. Don't miss the Restaurant Skanzeen just 5 minutes away - local food... More

This pension is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Brno. At check-in, the lady at the front desk helped us understand a little about Brno and gave us a map and some directions. They really go the extra mile for people at this pension. They even have umbrellas available to borrow and small cabinets of beverages, toiletries, and other items... More

Even though this pension is just a short way out of the city centre it provides realy calm and quiet place to sleep over. Rooms are basic but clean and big enough to feel comfortable. Personel is also very helpful. We arrived at the time when non of the stuff was present so we called owner and they opened somehow... More

“I'm not sure if they have rooms on the south side - I just have a feeling that they have. :I Anyway, if you need complete silence, rooms on the south side are a better choice. Rooms on the north side directly look to the restaurant's garden terrace thus the talk and chattering of the resto guests, or the background music can be bothering.”
