Location right across the street from the Train depot. Veronica at the desk was just wonderful! We arrived by train from Prague too early to check into our room. (Planned for a 1 night visit on our way to Vienna) She helped us with directions to the "open air market" a few blocks away where we bought fresh fruit. She...

The hotel had its good points and indifferent points. First good, location was very central and ideal, the bar and restaurant was an unusual step back in time. The breakfasts were good. Now the indifferent the rooms were in need of refurbishment, we were stuck up in the gods with only a sky light, our room wasn't cleaned one day...

I booked this hotel on the arrival day and price was nicely reduced otherwise I would not booked it. I'm not sure if this hotel should have "Grand" in front. In old days I can imagine it was majestic but unfortunately it stayed there. It is nothing wrong, bed is comfortable, stuff is friendly, food is good but it is...

Everything was fine, nice big room (we had the standard room), everything was clean. The breakfast was super, a huge variety of fruits, cereals etc. Everything was perfect! Definately a hotel to recommend! Only thing, we didn't like was the fact, that we couldn't open the window during the night, it was simply too noisy due to the pedestrian/bar area...

Complimentary upgrade to executive suite was a fantastic welcome to the city! This is an older hotel that is really well maintained. Dont expect a new modern type hotel. With that said it's a gorgeous building and the rooms are beautiful. The executive suites are large with great Wood work and high ceilings. The bathroom is remarkably large. Well equiped...

We had a short visit to Brno and needed a place with a confotable location, and this is the spot for that. In terms of location is next to downtown Brno (walking distance) and very close to Student Agency bus station and train station, so you will be able to move around Czech Republic very easy. Rooms are not new,...

Enjoyed our stay, everything was great and as expected. Love the garden restaurant.. Very close to train station and coach pick ups. Also just behind you will find the town centre with the amazing crypts, cathedral and old town hall with tower and panorama view where we were lucky enough to catch a jazz and opera mixed concert.

Attending the Brno MotoGP which was fantastic staying at this hotel for three nights. Great location, good enough food and friendly staff. The rooms were huge but the beds were tiny very strange as the Czech people didn't look any smaller then normal!! The bar was shut very promptly each night when they could of had a bit more of...

As always a lovely stay, booked direct with the hotel. With the weather being quite warm it was very uncomfortable with having no air conditioning. Would have appreciated a email stating the fault so I could have booked another hotel, stopped for 3 nights very uncomfortable at night sleeping. I even had to use the pepsi and water in the...

Stayed at the Grand last month for a couple of beer based nights. Hotel is well situated, can walk everywhere, mind you Brno is more like a large town rather than a city. We had a massive room that was well equipped. One thing, it's all just a bit dated, the air con works but only just however that is...
