What can we say ...this felt like home and we were treated like old friends..nothing was to much trouble ..even having a surprise bottle of champagne and a birthday cookie delivered to our table at breakfast to mark the occasion ..don't change a thing ..you are doing everything right ..thanks for all the effort you and all your staff put...

I can't say enough about this hotel. We arrived in the morning from another hotel expecting to put our bags in a holding place. We were greeted as we exited the taxi, were given a place to sit and offered drinks of any kind. They had an upgraded room available and in the meantime, the young lady brought out maps...

I know - you look at all of these 5-star reviews and say "really? There has to be something wrong with this place" - if you find it, let us know. Because even with the great reviews, Residence Agnes exceeded all our expectations. Excellent location? Check. Amazing staff? Check. Comfortable beds and rooms? Check. Free drinks in the lobby? Check....

To rate this Hotel a 10 would be an injustice. Frank and his Team made our stay beyond Memorable. Our only regret is that we were there 3 days...should have been 30!! The Service, the Accomodations and the Staff friendliness could not have been better. I would recommend the Hotel Agnes to anyone wanting A SPECIAL EXPERIENCE. My Rating "15"...

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Residence Agnes was our home in Prague......a beautiful home filled with delightful, friendly people. Every staff member made us feel very welcome from morning 'till night. They always asked about our plans for the day and offered to assist us in any way possible. Upon returning to the hotel, we were...

What an amazing place! I booked a room through booking.com, got my confirmation followed by a personal email from Agnes ensuring me they'd do anything they can to make our stay perfect: from arranging airport pick-up to organising day trips and restaurant reservations - nothing is a problem. So we arrived at the beautiful hotel to be greeted by the...

We stayed in the Agnes for 4 nights (March 21-25th). As nearly all reviews have mentioned the service is second to none, the staff are lovely and so kind (we were particularly fond of Alex the driver). Because of its small size and the friendliness of the staff it does feel more like a B&B than a hotel. The location...

Hotel Agnes has the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. They offer drinks every single time they see you. They also arranged free transpiration both from the train station and to the airport. They will also sit down with you and help coordinate your entire plans when you arrive. The location is excellent as well. Top notch hotel.

I cannot rave on about this hotel enough! I'm so glad that we found it. It was the perfect place to stay and we wanted to stay another night, but it was fully booked - it is very popular for a reason! The staff were very helpful. They sat down with us when we arrived to talk to us about...

The room may not be the biggest or the best facilities but the staff simply can't be more helpful. I have stayed in many hotels throughout Europe but I have never been in such accommodating, helpful and welcoming hotel. 1st for Prague on trip advisor I think so, well deserved 10/10. Highly Recommended.

Thank Peter L

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
