The reviews don't lie, Hotel Residence Agnes is unique in a good way. The level of service is quite exceptional, everyone goes out of their way to help or assist you. The location is also perfect, close to the "important" sites but still in a quiet neighborhood. The room was a bit small, but clean and tidy and most important...

I am not going to repeat in detail what the other 2,800+ 5-star reviews say. Amazing service, lovely room and great location is all you need to know. We sincerely hope to be back - a real surprise package in the best possible way.

As we are sitting enjoying our last glass of wine before heading back to the airport, its easy to reflect on what a wonderful hotel this is. There is no need to repeat what others have commented about Residence Agnes other than to say don't consider staying anywhere else in Prague. It's simply an amazing place with the most wonderful...

The reviews were not exaggerating. The level of service in this hotel is simply outstanding. We have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world but the level of service here is on another level. The staff could not be more helpful. They were so helpful it was almost embarrassing. We have never experienced a level of service...

Absolutely nothing bad to say about Hotel Residence Agnes. They picked us up from the train station, recommended good excursions, reserved restaurants for us and had a cold beer waiting every time we entered the lobby. The owners and staff go above and beyond to make your stay in Prague fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel- book early!

Frank and the team run a great 4 Star residence. Key features include complimentary transfers from Prague Central station, an easy walk to Metro and tram stops and even a very effective restaurant booking service: (La Veranda, Bellevue, Field all booked on Sunday for the following week) There's also great coffee nearby (One Sip, Sisters) and the breakfast highlights included...

We booked this hotel for a recent trip to Prague based on reviews from Trip Advisor. We couldn't have asked for a better experience in this well located hotel! From my first email asking about availability to our ride back to the airport, we were never disappointed. Frank and his staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and courteous. We were greeted...

We stayed in Residence Agnes for 3 nights in April 2017. The hotel is well located in the jewish area, 10 minutes from the Old Town Square. Very peaceful hotel. Elegantly decorated and very clean. Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Residence Agnes**** is located in the heart of charming Old Town, just a few steps from Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and the Jewish Quarter of Josefov containing preserved synagogues that attract tourists from around the world; it is also close to the attractive Palladium shopping centre. Due to its location, the residence is the ideal base for your visit to Prague – whether for a shopping spree, or to visit cultural and historical sites. The historical Residence Agnes building is located in one of the oldest parts of Old Prague which is listed by UNESCO. The first mention of the building dates back to 1369, when it was bought by Matyas for “two three-scores of groschens”.
