This is the quintessential boutique hotel in a fabulous location! They distinguish themselves by their outstanding service. The owner, Frank, models a joy-filled, gracious attitude for his staff and they have all picked up on it. Every staff member was multi-lingual, knowledgeable, kind, and just plain enjoyable to talk to. They gave us wonderful restaurant and sight-seeing recommendations, then made the reservations for us, and a few times, even volunteered to drive us there. They maintain a beautiful balance of being helpful, but not intrusive. The breakfast is artfully displayed, delicious and complete. The beds are firm, pillows are glorious and duvets are oh-so-comfy. (Our party used 11 of the 22 rooms and none of us had complaints.) The greetings as we returned in the afternoons and the offers of beer, wine and/or water made us feel as if we were staying with friends. I can't say enough good things about this place!…
Impeccable service made our stay in Prague even more memorable and incredible! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Recommended great local spots, helped us in getting registered for COVID testing to get back into the US, and were always treating us to beverages and snacks. Our room was perfectly sized, with fresh flowers and cookies from the neighboring gingerbread shop. Great complimentary breakfast. The hotel location is centrally located, perfect for checking out all of the sites. The building itself is so charming and well renovated, it was historically a horse stable. Wish we could give more than five stars. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and that our time in Prague was perfect.
Absolutely stay here, especially if you are a first time visitor to Prague! This was the best experience my wife and I have ever had at any hotel in the world. The staff took personal care of our parking, arranged a great personal city tour guide, made our dinner reservations including a surreal dinner on a boat overlooking the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle, and every time we entered the hotel they seated us in the gorgeous reception area with free glasses of wine and beer and snacks. The hotel is a beautiful, historic building. The breakfasts were awesome. The staff is extremely service-minded and friendly. Wow, what a great experience.
I’ve had the good fortune to stay at some amazing hotels but none can match the charm and friendly hospitality of the Residence Agnes. We were given the warmest of welcomes and throughout our stay, every member of staff we met, without exception, wanted nothing but to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The location is great, the rooms are clean and very comfortable and the service is exceptional. We know exactly where we are staying next time we visit Prague!
The Hotel Residence Agnes is quite possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. This old and charming hotel is very comfortable, quiet and in a convenient location. The breakfast was vast and delicious and the service was beyond outstanding. I was picked up at the airport by a hotel employee and met with cappuccino and apple streusel upon arrival. Hotel staffed helped arrange my Covid test and a few tours. I was offered a hot cup of tea when returning home on a rainy night and wine and snacks in the evenings. The place is run by the most welcoming, warm, hard working and gracious staff I’ve ever experienced. I can’t recommend the Hotel Agnes enough!!
