Location is great! The "Welcome" that we got wasn't very welcoming at all, the lady receptionist was quick to take our card details and didn't say much or smile. We dragged our own luggage up a flight of stairs. The room was very spacious and clean. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fully stocked mini bar. We...

Lovely hotel, excellent location both food and cocktails within the hotel were at a high standard, plenty of choice at breakfast. The Irish bar across the road from the hotel is well worth a visit, be careful when getting a taxi agree price first

Reasonably well located but falls short when it comes to rooms. We were in a room on the 3rd floor that was far too small to accommodate two people with luggage. When we arrived at the room even the hotel porter acknowledged that the room was too small. Carpets were frayed and in immediate need of replacement and someone had...

Check in was fine and efficient and our bags were trolled to room by a member of staff. But the room 330 was such a disappointment. It is in the old part of the building and it showed. The carpet whilst hovered, definitely required a good cleaning, my wife would not walk on the floor with her bare feet! The...

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed our time very much. The hotel location was great, close to Old Town and the train station, even our room had a view of St.Vistus's Cathedral. The staff were very helpful and attentive, everything we asked for was handled including some extra business scanning and printing I needed. This exceeded my expectations. The room...

We had a fabulous four night stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely with everything we needed. The cooked breakfast wasn't what you'd get in England but there were plenty of delicious alternatives. The central location meant we could walk to all the main sites in the city.

just returned from a weekend break in Prague staying at this hotel It was very good, rooms very comfortable, short walk to the centre of Prague. Only minor issue was the dining room for breakfast was a little crowded but food was good. Reception staff were friendly and booked taxis and excursions for us. Would recommend.

The hotel was good. Breakfasts are good enough. I would not recommend this area to stay, because in the evening I could not feel safe. Once I saw a man who I was sure was selling drugs or offering prostitutes. I also did not like the style of the hotel, I prefer modern-style furniture, but this is just my personal...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
